For a Safari to Kenya, Uganda or Tanzania. I recommend this website and Kikuyu Lodge as a base for tours and Safari's. With personal service they appear to be able to arrnage anything and nothing is too much trouble. They advertise to be a home from home and that is just what they are. Very reassuring for our first trip to Africa.

WOW - This is the most incredible place that I have ever been.
The flight in a tiny 6 seater plane from Nairobi was a great start. Your stomach doesnt know what to do with itself, but all is forgoten as soon as you start to fly over herds of Elephant and Hippos in the river, it really is just as you have alays imagined Africa should look like.
The Camp is somthing very special and you realise this as soon as they load your bags onto a small boat to be pulled across the river to get to your tent and dinning area.
All tents overlook a marsh area which is popular with a wide variety of animals which can be seen from your private veranda. The tent is very good with a bathroom most luxury hotels would be proud of. No electricity though so you go everywhere with a torch or gaslamp.
We had to stay up for another drink one night because a hippo decided to stand infront of out tent. A Gin and Tonic later it had decided to move on.
The guides are very friendly and knowledgable, they even remember what you have seen and and what you would like to see, to make sure you get the most out of your stay.
We were lucky enough to see the big cats that were featured on the BBC series Big Cat Diaries. The Cheetahs even jumped onto our Landrover which gave us the opportunity for some great photographs.
I'd dreamed of going to Africa all of my life and I am delighted to say that due to the expertise of the staff and the stunning location in the Masi Mara, Little Govenors Camp made the reality even better than the dream.
