The best holiday we have ever had. We went to Kurumba to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, leaving the kids with their grandparents we went in search of paradise...and found it! All bungalows and rooms are situated along the most beautiful beach. All accomodation has their own sun beds that are numbered (this is not a place you have to go in search of a sunbed). The bungalow was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Several excursions are run from the hotel. If you love snorkelling the maldives is for you and the trip you can go on is well worth it.You can go right out snorkelling from the beach and swim with the reef sharks and every fish you can think of, it's magical. We also went on the glass bottom boat trip which we were disappointed with, basically unless you never venture in the water and snorkell you won't need to go on this trip. A trip well worthy of going on is the sunset cruise. They take you out on a lovely boat and you watch the dolphins. I have never seen so many it was brilliant. It is as if you are watching a show. It is not to be missed. There are a good selection of hotels on the island. We booked in for bed and breakfast only so we were able to choose where we ate. Make sure you book restaurants early. There was the odd occasion we couldn't get in the restaurant of our choice. Although it turned out ok as we went to the buffet restaurant that night, where no booking is required. The food is lovely and at the buffets you can eat all you like. Be aware that the italian restaurant (and seafood restaurant) are al'a carte and you don't get much food. Prices in the resort are expensive as everything is imported in to the maldives. Expect to pay $60 per head for food in the buffet restaurant. Around $150 in a restaurant for two. lunch which we had in the beach bar was great and around $56 for two. We were there over halloween and it was a great night. An excellent atmosphere, all the staff dressed up and a themed buffet was put on. Although i've put the resort is great for couples it is also very child friendly and we would definatly take our kids there.

Absolutely perfect holiday! From the moment we landed at the airport to when we left was fabulous.

I traveled alone with my 5 yr-old son and we both had a spectacular time.

We had a private transfer from the airport to the hotel in a plush leather interior luxury boat. It was raining when we arrived but the hotel staff met us at the boat with a large umbrella. You do not have to worry about your luggage because they take it from you when they pick it up at the airport and deliver it to your room. Check-in was in a private room where they meet you with a welcome drink. They then whisk you off to your room in a golf cart.

We had a bungalow right on the beach with a huge four-poster bed, porch with table and chairs and daybed, and a huge bathroom with large sunken tub and an outdoor garden with a shower. There was also a separate daybed for my son to sleep in. They had coffee making facilities as well as a nicely stocked mini bar. The room and porch was cleaned twice a day, and the room boy always left fresh flowers around the room

The food was excellent as well as all the facilities. We did take a couple of excursions, glass bottom boat, sunset cruise and the Maldivian experience. The Maldivian experience I highly recommend.

We visited in mid-December and it only rained for a couple hours the first day and one other evening for about an hour. The rest of our trip was sunny and humid.

My son spent time in the UK run Kid's club. Russel and Nicky were wonderful. My son constantly talks about his ";new friends";. They kept him entertained with volleball, football, playstation, arts and crafts, etc. while I snorkeled and went to the Spa and gym.

I cannot recommend this resort enough. Everyone on their staff was friendly and could not help you enough.

I would definately go back to this resort!
