Sliema was a decent place to stay with good sea views and close to the place to catch buses and get about the island. The views across to Valetta in the evening were brill. Lots of places to eat and drink too.

If you need relaxation of body and mind, Gozo is the place to go. We have been to Malta already twice, and only managed to go to Gozo only once on a day-tour, the last time we visited in 2007. This time we decided we might take a Winter break in Gozo, and it really helped us to gain our strengths! It's a lovely island, though small, having lots of places to visit. Think that in Summer there will be more cultural events than in January! The Citadel is the place to go, and the crafts village is not to miss. We bought some local glass from the glass blowers, and some Gozo lace as well. Don't come back without buying some Gozo honey! Gozo offers lovely country walks.

A Trendy resort in the upmarket area of the island, just across the bay from Valetta, offering good harbour views. The resort is very popular with cruise ships hence the steep prices. The main holiday resorts are at the other end of the island but the main international hotels and fine dining restaurants are situated in this area. perect for a quiet winter break

The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin! a lovely little hotel in the picturesque island of gozo. This is a lovely 4star hotel with nice foods. We got a great deal from lastminute.com. The rooms are spacious, although the balcony which we pauid extra for was a little small, just fiot 2 on outside. The staff however were excellent and very friendly. Altogether a fantsic holiday. I would recommend this holiday for couples, maybe a romantic weekend away. The beach's of malta and gozo are ok, they are not picture perfect walking beach's as these islands are rock islands but there still nice to explore. the island is very quiet, not much to do but some people like this including myself and wife. We loved it.. would definitly go back.

This resort gives acces to nice walks along the coast its major advantage is its bus station with regular buses to all parts of the Island, one disadvantage are the time share touts (Hint tell them nicht verschten) they dont bother the Germans

great resort with lots to see and do with all the usual shops including marks and spencers macdonalds etc just lovely to be able to potter around the lovely resort

Gozo is a lovely small island with much to do. It is an ideal place for all families. Locals are very friendly and come over to help you whenever and wherever you stop to check your map. We even met farmers who gave us fresh products from their fields! We strongly recommend this island for all nature lovers and all those looking for a relaxing holiday away from the city life.

very quiet carefull of taxis they rip you off ok if your in club 80 to 130 no good if your under 70

I have covered most in the review of the hotel however, there are a variety of bars close by with entertainment, quite a number of restraunts a long prom to walk on but no sandy beach. Mosat locals speak English.

A relaxed resort but with very friendly people and lovely bars etc. We went for a week in november so the indoor pool was a great addition.

Very little in the resort itself but a nice peomenade and the more vibrant resorts of St Pauls bay and Buggiba were a 20 minute walk away. malta has a very good bus service that makes the island very accesible and a lot of the nightlife centres round the hotels anyway so little need to really venture too far afield

st julians is at the heart of Malta's life.Not many sandy beaches,so not ideal for childfren.But good hotels,nightlife anb being a small island,St Julians is close to everything.
