Corinthia Mistra Village Reviews

I have just returned from a Holiday to The Corinthia Mistra Village, we were really lucky, had a room overlooking the pool with 3 balconies. The place was beautiful, the pools were very nice and very clean. They provide pool towels as well. Had a small problem with sunbed reservation mainly at the weekend when some of the local people pay to use the pool.

We were on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was the same as most other places I have been to that have a buffet breakfast and it was ok. There was plenty of choice and something to suit all tastes.
However, we bought 3 tickets for the evening meal buffet. What a disaster the food was disgusting. Hardly any choice and everything had some herbs even the baked had was cooked with cinammon. So, for the other 2 days we used them for the barbeque. The barbeque was ok, but I was really glad that I was on a bed and breakfast basis only.

The Mistra Village is due to shut at the end on October, what a shame and the place is beautiful and not shabby at all.

We hired a car for 10 days and you do need this to travel around malta as the buses are great fun but not really that reliable.

We went to many places on the island and had lots of fun, laughing at the cars and the driving

We visited to fiestas which were birlliant and the fireworks that accompanied these were great. Bangs so loud the floor shook!!!

All in all Malta was OK, quite expensive but we had a good time. Dont think we will be visiting again for a long time.

If you are going to visit malta, make sure you take a trip to Gozo, because it is lovely over there.
