My partner and I have just arrived back from Malta staying at the Riu Seabank hotel, it was fabulous!! we couldn't have asked for more. The staff couldn't be more helpful and it was extremely clean. There was 28 of us that stayed there as my friend was getting married there and we had the best time ever. Even on the wedding day when i had a disaster with my dress the maids were on hand to help out and everyone was so friendly. The Animation staff kept us all entertained all day with different activities - from pool Volleyball to ping pong to darts!! all to include the children too. but left you alone if you just wanted to relax. We will definitely visit again in the near future! We highly recommend this hotel. :)

OverallExcellent Resort

Mellieha Bay is a quieter resort although it still has some nice bars and restaurant. If you want a busier nightlife it is only a short taxi or bus ride to St Julians Cape Ville. There are lots of things to see and do and many boat trips to go on. The weath...

We had a great holiday, we upgraded our room when we arrived to over look the sea the balcony was very large. They greeted us with a welcome drink, all staff very helpful, room cleaned every day clean towels also. Nice sandy beach but locals take over at the week end because not many beaches in Malta. The only thing I did not like was that the children seemed to take over the bowling, snooker tables and the bar. no where to go of an evening.

Beware, dont book this hotel, they overbook. We were due here then 48 hrs before departure were told the hotel had overbooked and we were shunted somewhere else. Customer care by airtours/Thomas cook is non existant.

the hotel is very well run by staff who are very helpful. within half hour of booking in we recieved a call from reception to check all was ok with room. the food was hot and well presented. even had proper a=sausages at breakfast. The evening entertainment was quite good but there was nowhere outside to go if you wanted to. There was a smoking room next to the bar which was closed off so didnt annoy non smokers. Overall had a lovely week and would definetely go back

OverallGood Resort

the beaches were very clean with places to buy drinks and food and ice cream etc. the resort itself was very quiet but had plenty of buses if you wanted to go sightseeing. For shopping really needed to go to Bugibba or Sliema.

Dont really know where to start, if you are over 50 and have no children then this hotel will be fine. However if you have children as we did its not as good.

Firstly i wouldnt class it as a 4star maybe a 3. Please beaware that on your first couple of nights in the resturant you will be given a questionnaire of how good the service is and on your first few nights it will be great but sadly goes downhill from there we sat on numerous time with soup bowls on the table while we were eating our sweets having asked several times for the table to be cleared but no one seem to care. One very important notice to all parents DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN IN THE KIDS CLUB, the reason you may ask well my mother in law took my children in the kids club but unfortunately she wasnt able to fetch them out so their dad fetch them, he never got asked any questions as to who he was, he just stood at the door and asked for them and the girl shouted them and let them go but the girls running the kids club had never seen there dad before and wasnt concerned of who was fetching them.

Now for the downstairs apart from the smell you had to wait 20 inutes for a drink and it wasnt even busy maybe 4 people in the bar, the bowling is very expensive and keeps breaking. The price of beer is actually cheaper downstairs than it is upstairs but just to show how expensive the bar is they were charging 1lira 40cents for a pint of local beer, downstairs they were charging 1 lira in local bars its was 40cents !!!! The beach was nice but thats the only good thing about this place. Also if you go to the red tower the times are wrong it actually shuts at 4 not 7, we got there at 3.55 had a photo on the steps and the lady who was working there shut the door and said it was now closed, not very hospitable.

I could go on forever but to sum up wouldnt go there again wouldnt recommend it and was pleased to get home.
