Hotel San Antonio Reviews

San Antonio was very good. The staff were obbliging and friendly, the food was delicious and the facilities - in the room and in the hotel - were excellent.

Room
The room we stayed in was superb. There were two double beds, a small dining table, a mini fridge, telephone, in-built wardrobe, television and a balocny overlooking the sea. The bathroom was amazingly clean, with a hairdryer and shaving plug utilities. The entire apartment was cleaned every day, which was excellent service.

Dining and Bars
The hotel's half board plan included breakfast buffet, and dinner buffet. It was just that as we are vegetarians, the food offered only a few things. But, chefs could personally prepare dishes without the meat (although it did take a short while longer.) But overall it was good. There were 3 bars; the lobby bar, the cafe bar and the entertainment bar. The staff were efficient and helpful, as with all other aspects of the hotel. It was just a suprise at how much the drinks could total to.

Evening entertainment
The main attraction was a show in the entertainment bar. When we visited, the shows included Maltese country dancing, karakoe and jazz bands. It was designed more for elderly couples, but still gave a bit of entertainment.

Health Gym
The health gym was great; there were proper workout machines, a heated indoor swimming pool and jaccuzzi, a steam room and a massage department.

Overall
In overall, the hotel was outstanding. The atmosphere as you walked in was cosy and elegant, with passers by not being to resist looking through the large windows.
The rooms were serviced more than average, with good results. The food was good, but hopefully the hotel will improve the vegeterian option in the future. This certainly was a good hotel, and I could certainly recommend it
