The rooms were clean but not up to 4 star standard .
We did get intercomunicating rooms as requested.
The mini bar was not refilled each day - we were told that the mini bar was only filled at the start of the stay!
Neither of the safe deposit boxes in the rooms worked ( flat Batteries).
The staff were not interested!
The food was disgusting!
The 'shop'was not open for two days and then when it was it had very little in it!
The freezer in the bar area containing ice cream looked as though it had not been de-frosted or replenished for 6 months!
Before we left the UK I tried to change hotels but Chevron were not interested - once they had my money!
The report made on this site in August is nearer the truth than is possible.
No way is this a 4 star hotel - nearer a 2 star.
You have been warned!
The hotel is an absolute disgrace! The staff are unhelpful in the extreme. Amongst many failures they failed to book a hire car (although we booked one within 10 minutes) and were not even able to book a taxi for our return to the airport!

The whole place is filthy.
The pool is in a terrible state with broken sun shades and sun beds. There are not enough sun beds for the number of guests by a ratio of (I estimate) about 30 to 1. The place has the air of a very second rate youth hostel and would never qualify as a 4* hotel in a million years. (4* is what they claim on their web site)
Whilst we were there the hotel was full with language students from various countries including France and Germany. These gangs of marauding youths effectively took over the place showing no respect for other guests in the hotel. Being woken at 4 am by a drunken mob returning from a night out was not uncommon. I understand that these students frequent this hotel on a regular basis. The staff were all very young and had little or no control over these teenagers. I actually have video evidence of pool staff actively encouraging people to act in a dangerous manner.
When we arrived in the first room allocated to us I was appalled to see the filthy state of the bathroom (covered in mould) The kitchen (filthy cups, rusty filthy cooker). There were broken electrical sockets and wires hanging out of the wall! The balcony had the remnants of a loaf of bread jammed in the railings and we looked out onto a flat roof covered in rubbish and discarded food.
We were moved, on complaint, into an apartment room that was marginally better but still of a very poor standard.
All the fixtures and fitting in this hotel appear to be of the lowest/cheapest standard available and the level of maintenance is just above zero.
I could go on cataloguing the faults with this dreadful place but by now I think you have got the picture!!!
DON'T GO THERE unless you want a truly memorable experience, for all the wrong reasons!!!
