We had a wonderful holiday here. staff were the best we ever met. lucky enough to be here for divali_ festival of light. what a great night. catamaran trip was best day. we hired a car and driver, good value and driver very knowledgable. Goodlands worth a trip for a taste of local life. Only thing we didn!t like was the stray dogs everywhere, some in terrible state. The food at the hotel was first class and entertainment good. A lot of french tourists here, not very friendly. Hello to Andy and Mel if you reading this.

Where do I start. Met at the airport and escorted to our taxi for the 1 hour transfer.well received at the resort.suitcases taken to our room,a cold towel and a welcome drink.

the resort is clean and well kept.rooms to a good standard with small mini bar,hair dryer,t.v..Towel and bedding changed when required.pool and beach area clean and quite safe .plenty of sunbeds with pads. Please be careful the sun here is very strong and you will burn very quickly.

the food is ok. Breakfast=fruit(could be better selection) cereal,continental,eggs and bacon(very good) Lunch=salads etc Dinner=themed nights i.e. barbecues,mauritian,Italian etc all meals buffet style(if you fancy steak or chicken just befriend the waiters with a tip early in your holiday and ask them,it wont be a problem)entertainment staff quite good ,but too many silly shows which the french found entertaining.

trips= book with big john at the poolside,cheaper and better than the agent who was pushy and expensive.
would not hesitate to go to Mauritius again,I would recommend mercury direct and would certainly go to Marina Resort again
