we arrived after our ten hour flight our room wasn't ready,the one they offered opened out onto the restaurant front entrance ! lounge and lobby bar are very dark and unwelcoming for your first impression when you first arrive. staff at the desk are equally...
we arrived after our ten hour flight our room wasn't ready,the one they offered opened out onto the restaurant front entrance ! lounge and lobby bar are very dark and unwelcoming for your first impression when you first arrive. staff at the desk are equally unfriendly and the bellboy thinks he owns the place.pool area is quite small and the terrace for eating is pretty hopeless,service is very slow . main dining area is ok but variety of food is basic.we jumped at the free upgrade to temptations because of overbooking at blue bay ,we would recommend you to do the same its miles better....

after a crap start at the first hotel we had a brilliant time in cancun and would recommend it to everybody its a great place for a holiday

I travelled here at the end of may in 2006 for 2 weeks with Thomas Cook. Very much a couples and families hotel.
The transfer to the hotel takes you through downtown cancun and passed all the other hotels. The Blue Bay Club is quite far out from down...
I travelled here at the end of may in 2006 for 2 weeks with Thomas Cook. Very much a couples and families hotel.
The transfer to the hotel takes you through downtown cancun and passed all the other hotels. The Blue Bay Club is quite far out from downtown and you pass what looks like a shanty town almost to get there...i did wonder what i had let myself in for. Our room was allocated in the main hotel (there is another building opposite the main one with more rooms). The room itself was nothing to shout about but had air con a t.v and coffee making facilites the view was the other building across the road. We asked to be moved to a sea view room but told we would have to wait unless we were prepaired to pay. Five days later we were moved to a sea view room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Both rooms were clean with clean bedding and towels very day.
The resturants had good food (buffet style) and the waiters couldnt do enough. The breakfasts were fantastic the omlettes are the best (make sure you ask for bacon) they hide the bacon under the counter and isnt on show....
I have to mention the entertainment staff, ...the best i have ever seen they are at the pool b4 everyone, they were great with children and adults. They entertained everyone all day and into the night with shows at the banquet hall the lobby bar and even took groups into downtown cancun to party at bulldogs, senor frogs and coco bongo!
I had such a good time at this hotel overall i think it was very very good...and yes i would go back!!!!

The beach was excellent outside the hotel lots of sunloungers. Nightlife in downtown cancun is brilliant for young people lots of places to eat bars and nightclubs.
