I stayed here for 2 weeks last year, one of a group of 4 girls and it was fantastic! Don't believe what you hear about the swingers, it does happen here but it's not in your face! The food was great, rooms were very clean and well furnished, the pools are lovely, entertainment every night and the clubs/bars on Cancun's main strip are amazing. If you go to Cancun you MUST go to Coco Bongos it is out of this world!! Also Senior Frogs is a must. Would stay at this hotel again, had a nice quiet and clean beach, friendly staff - just everything about it was brilliant. Mexico is definitely the best place I have ever been by far!!

I've just back from Cancun and i can't begin to tell you how fantastic it was. We stayed in the Blue Bay Club and it was the cleanest, friendliest, nicest and best hotel ever! The rooms are really nice and even though we were AI there was still a kitchen in the room. One of the rooms we had had a hot tub/jacuzzi on the balcony and they were all facing the beach. The hotel was really clean and well kept and the staff were the nicest people i have ever met. They would go out of their way to help you e.g. opening doors, carrying bags, waiting on you, giving advise etc.

The resteraunts were very nice and very posh (well posh for us from Yorkshire) The Oyster resteraunt was particularly nice with very helpful staff and the food was delicious (not just seafood by the way)

The beach was beautiful and the sea was clear, there were workers up and down the beach all day moving seaweed and flattening out the sand. You could relax all day without worrying about people trying to sell you things.

We went on a trip out to one of the reefs in the sea where we were snorkelling. We were provided with snorkles, flippers, life-jackets, drinks, a guide. When had finished snorkelling the boat took us to a lagoon (the island of shells) where there was thousands of shells for you to collect. Then the boat took you back with the chance to drive if you wanted. In total it was only around $30 each.

We also went to Xel-Ha, which was brilliant. It is massive river/lagoon where you snorkle with thousands of fish, some of which are MASSIVE! You can also go through the caves, explore the wildlife, eat at numerous resteraunts and many other activities.

The holiday in whole was unbeleivable (well worth the 10 hour flight). We went to the Dominican last and thought that couldn't be beaten but we were so wrong. Cancun is the place to be!

The staff were very friendly,and willing to do anything you wanted,sometimes for a small tip!
The hotel is located right on the beach, and it was beautiful,not crowded,and the views were lovely.
The room was very spacious,and clean, until we emptied our cases,haha
Food was good,they served food throughout the day. I recomend the chinese resturaunt at the sister hotel,the blue bay getaway,which has to be pre booked at the reception and is a taxi ride away.The taxis are cheap!

The entertainment was not very good of an evening,but that didnt bother us as we went out most nights,either clubbin or to the other hotel.
The club does nightclub excursions,which work out cheaper,get a lift there,pay a fee,get your drinks free,make your own way back to the hotel.A
good club to go is COCO BONGO'S,where randomly superman will swing out of the ceiling they also have tributes to jacko,elvis etc. Get there early though as it does get rammed!!!
Try and go on as many trips as poss,we went on about 4 in a week.Bar crawl,boat trip to the jungle,pirate ship(where we were the only adults dressed in bandanas,eye patches,swords,which u can buy,u got to have a laugh!!)and swm with dolphins(a must)
we had a hol 2 remember,and met some lovely people,hope it's the same for you!

Our first time in the Carribean and it was the best holiday we have ever had. We took our daughter and fiance with us to celebrate her 21st birthday and they absolutely loved it.

Cancun is brilliant with lots of places to go, bars, restaurants. Our rooms were right on the beach, 2 tier with massive beds and everything you need for comfort. They were cleaned every day and fresh towels given. Everything about the hotel was fabulous, the staff always happy and eager to please especially if you tip. Food was excellent with lots of variety. The entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant, Dario and Charlie especially, something happening all day and the entertainment at night was superb especially the shows which are a must to see. We went on three excursions including snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, we hired a boat to take us out to the reef snorkelling, it took us to a fabulous beach where you could collect shells. The beaches are just like paradise. You can take a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the main hotel strip which includes the sister Hotel Blue Bay Getaway where you can use all the facilities and it takes just a 20 minute ride. Lots of shopping malls, flea markets etc. Definately a holiday to remember.

We would definately go back.

The Mexican people are always smiling and happy to please. We were lucky because our return flight was delayed so we had a day and a half extra there, my daughter and her fiance did not want to come home!!
The people we met in the hotel were great. We really did have a wonderful and fun time. We would strongly recommend this hotel and CANCUN to anyone, believe me you will not be disappointed.
