Hotel Riu Caribe Reviews

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at the Riu Caribe which was absolutely wonderful. We could not fault the hotel at all. The service was outstanding, the staff friendly and courteous, the food excellent and it was immaculate. We could not have wished for a better stay. Can't wait to return there again. the entertainment staff espec Enrique (cookie munster) were faultless, food drinks everything faultless.................. excellent choice for your holiday...would go every year if i could, but like the change....keep up the good work..........

The service from check in to check out was amazing. The staff could not do enough for you. The sports and entertainment team were brilliant and organised loads of activities for during the day and put on a good show at night. The trips they put on to Coco Bongos ect were great. This was the best holiday I have ever been on thanks to the brilliant hotel staff and great service and atmosphere.

just returned from rui caribe 3 oct 2008 Hotel was great . location was quite central could jump on bus into centre of cancun for 35 pence buses wre every few minutes the staff were really helpfull from check in to check out .the food was excellent .but the entertainement team were brilliant mikey alex david leon victor erik linda gabriel claudia and any of them that's name i have forgotten they really made the holiday don't know when they ever get time to sleep as they are on the go all the time organising games show's and pub crawls and clubbing with the guest's till all hours the waiters and the catering staff and cleaning staff were all brilliant as well would definately recommend this hotel and we will definately be going back .the scuba diving was well worth doing as well

we returned from this hotel a week ago and i cant wait to go back. we got through cancun airport really quickly and the first choice reps were there waiting, everything was explained to us on the coach to the hotel by our rep Eric,w ho is really good at his job, and so funny.

we arrived at the hotel and i was delighted it is even better than in photos we were all taken straight into a reception room and given tequila sunrises told all about the hotel and given our wristbands then straight up to our room to wait for our cases to arrive with the bellboy . the rooms are really spacious and the bathroom was the best we have ever had and we always stay in 4 or 5* we were on the 7th floor ,the only complaint was we were nere the air conditioning system which was outside and i did wake on the first night and had trouble getting back to sleep with the noise from it but after the first night i didnt even notice it and my husband and daughter thought i was just being pickey.

the food in this hotel is great and so much to choose from, you have to book early in the morning for the a la carte restauants , the steak restaurant is lovely at night its right by the beach. the buses run along the hotel zone about every 2 minutes we never had to wait any longer. the Isla shopping centre is the best place to go for gifts its really lovely i wouldnt bother with the flea market types they all pester you to get you to their stall.we wanted to go to coco bongos after reading about it but my daughter is just17 and they wouldnt let her in but well go there next time.

i really loved this holiday the hotel was perfect and if you book it you wont be dissapointed im so sad to be back home and will definatly go back as soon as possible. p.s you can also use the buffet restaurant at the rui cancun but our hotel was nicer i thought.
