What can i say, we have had an absolute amazing honeymoon, we're so glad we picked mexico and even this exact resort.
The airport can only be described as a ";free for all";, case's and people everywhere, they have this traffic light system when you leave basically you hit a button and if its green you go through but if its red you get stopped and searched all through your case's, i can see how that can be well annoying after a boring and lame 10 hour flight.
Apart from that we couldn't fault the holiday at all, the staff on the whole complex were brilliant and very very helpful and couldn't do enough for you.
We were on our honeymoon and they even organised a meal for the honeymooners which was amazing.
The complex itself is amazing too its an eco park with all different types of animals there and loads of space to walk about and take it all in to be very relaxing. Ive never been anywhere like this place in my life we were speechless the first day. Apparently your room gets cleaned and changed every 2 days but ours was getting done every day, mini bar getting topped up and beds changed. Our room was cracking we have a massive jacuzzi and room service whenever you wanted. The food was great and you eat as much as you like at anytime in any of the resturants.There isn't any cars around you get about on these golf buggy type things that pick you up and take you where you want to go. Also the place is full of americans which we found to be rude and arrogant, not all of them but most!
We did a few trips but the one that i'll never forget was swimming with the dolphins that is an absolute must!!!
We also had a looked around the other palace hotels and the one we found to be the best (don't get me wrong all the others are very nice too) was the aventura spa palace hotel it was very very luxurious but it just seemed to be full of people, not surprising having over 3000 rooms! I think it was because we were used to the Xpu-ha palace which has space galore and only having about 500 rooms you never saw another sole for days.
Although we had a couple of days where we had a bit of a tropical storm it didn't really bother us at all cuz there's still plenty to do, mexico is a great place and we will definitely going back next year.
