We had only just discovered this Web site when we were about to travel to the Blue Bay Club. After reading some reviews were quite concerned it may be not want we were expecting!

We had only just discovered this Web site when we were about to travel to the Blue Bay Club. After reading some reviews were quite concerned it may be not want we were expecting!
But it was excellent value and the Staff could not help enough very friendly as soon as you finished your drink refilled every one answere you are welcome! The rooms are very good a Mexican feel good size and were very pleased to have a sea view ( we did not book one ). This is the ideal hotel if you want peace and quiet or a choice of more noise and different surroundings at the Getaway (sister hotel) at no extra charge.
The beach is ok but the sea does have a problem with seaweed so the pool is the best bet. The entertainment staff are good 4 shows per week in the Theatre across the road so book meal options offered by vouchers on the second week if not you will see the same showes twice! You can book the Getaway Meals at the Blue Bay Club so there was no problem getting a reservation but arrange it early in your holiday to ensure you can go!
A good tip is to visit the Island of Murjeres just over the bay not through the rep or hotel. Turn left from the hotel walk 15-20 mins or take a bus 5 mins to the dock and take a ferry with the locals every 30 mins 35pesos per person. It is worth it the beach and sea is better than the Getaway and the Club worth travelling over for. Beware time share will ask you to take a free golf cart to get aroung the island ignore these as you get off the ferry walk to the left to the rentals and do not pay more than 35 dollars this will give you cart all day!
The jungle tour in the speed boat is also good !! The local buses are good and cheap to use. But the hotel provides free transport to the Getaway boat or bus you can then travel to other places in Cancun but beware the shops are expensive!
All in all its a good all inclusive clean and ideal for a long haul holiday the flight is long but worth it very hot!!!
So do not worry if you have booked this hotel we had a great time!
