"Atlas Medina Hotel and Spa"
Overall Resort Rating:
Prepare to be enveloped in a cocoon of comfort when you check into the Atlas Medina & Spa. From the moment you step inside this tranquil retreat you’ll feel a welcome wave of calm wash over you. Soft music and the soothing sound of trickling fountains waft around a slick and stylish reception area where a delicious dash of 1930’s jazz spices up the classic Moorish architecture. Your room is carefully designed and impeccably maintained and comes with a fully-equipped en suite bathroom creating a comfortable base from which to savour the many splendours of this hotel. Wander out onto the terrace and the enticing, glass-like waters of the pool invite you to take a refreshing dip surrounded by whispering palms and gardens studded with fragrant blooms. Head for the Oriental Spa and a sumptuous selection of relaxing treatments will tempt you to unwind your mind and soothe your soul.

"Lovely beach"
Overall Resort Rating:
The resort was very nice, beach lovely but you must be careful of hawkers. We were close to shops and cafes/restaurants not that we needed them as we were all inclusive.

"Better than expected"
Overall Resort Rating:
Didn't explore a lot of Agadir but we enjoyed what we saw. Having been to Egypt and Tunisia, we were pleasantly surprised at how relaxed and easy going Morocco is. You get a great European/Arabic combined culture.

Overall Resort Rating:
In April you need to be prepare for the cold and rain and sometimes the sunshine. Don't take photos especially of locals. The beach is horrible and stoney. Security tight

Nothing special.
The shopping is very, very expensive. Be prepared to get grabbed and dragged into shops. If you are a woman please make sure you have a male with you while out and about.

We enjoyed our break in Agadir, it was only short but it was a bit of a research break to see if we would like it. It is a nice enough resort, not the best if you are looking at a summer break but in the spring it is warm and pleasant. We would return properly next winter.

Overall Resort Rating:
Had a good stay in Agadir. It is a bit different to the holiday resorts we normally go to in Spain or Canaries, so that was good. Food was excellent, the tagine is brilliant, just like a lancashire hotpot or something! The casbah and souk are worth a trip.

had a lot of rain before we got there which took lots of rubish down to the beech, however, there were lots of people out cleaning up the beech when we were there and when we left you would not have know what had happened there.. they pride themselves with keeping the tourists happy!

"Agadir"
Overall Resort Rating:
We did enjoy Agadir - it isn't the best resort we have been to if you are comparing to typical 'summer sun' type places, but as a winter option it is quite a good one as the weather is generally nice (though we had more rain than we should have - just a gamble you take when going away in winter and could have been worse looking at Madeira!) and Moroccan food is delicious, had some excellent tagine. The souk was quite an adventure, and so was the kasbah - worth visiting, but go armed wih lots of small change for the numerous photo opportunities that pop up! We also went to a traditional Moroccan town towards the mountains, again we recommend.

We were reasonably impressed by the resort. We were lucky with the weather, very sunny. It is quite touristy down on the front, but not so many English, mainly French it seems. The souk was huge, worth a visit.

Overall Resort Rating:
Lot of work being done on the promenade. Once finished it will be lovely. Getting around town was easy either to walk or plenty of taxis though you need to establish definite price before your journey. Our only complaint is that you are hassled to death by the local shop keepers and that spoilt any shopping experience we would have liked to do. Plenty to see but you are bombarded.
