This hotel is certainly not of the quality I expect when travelling in established resorts in Europe. However, it is very cheap and adequate for a short break, especially mindful of the fact that it is North Africa and things are very different to Europe which is part of the attraction. So long as you aren't expecting the Ritz for £50 for 3 nights, you will be fine.

The Oasis doesn't look much from the outside, but the rooms are ok. It is really good value for money, we only paid about £150 half board for a week. The food is fine, mainly edible anyway but might be worth intending to eat out a couple of times. It was near the beach.

Had a pleasant stay at the Oasis, and in Agadir. This hotel wasn't the best I have stayed in, but it certainly wasn't the worst, and there were a lot worse in the resort. It was nice and near the beach, and quite near the souks, restaurants etc. The food was edible, and the room was reasonably comfortable.

"OK hotel - but would not return"

The hotel itself is very clean with very friendly staff. The rooms are a bit small, and the beds are a bit creaky (and paper thin wall!). The location however is excellent. I dont recommend to stay here though - not becasue of the hotel but because of Agadir itself - didnt enjoy myself at all - too mcuh hassle from locals demading money - and not just the beggars - the staff at some bars/restaurants were just plain rude and still expceted a tip and if you dont give at least 10% then they curse you on the way out!.

The oasis hotel is quite basic but the staff are very helpfull, the food is a big let down as there is'nt much choice, and the little choice you did have was very bland.
The beach is about a 10 minute walk across a very busy road and then down some steps and across another road you are then on the promanade which is very nice, the beach is good but the beds are concentrated on one area only, which was a dissapointment as it makes you feel rarther segregated, we lay on the sand on our own as the locals are no bother and after a while it was surprising how many others did the same
Went to marrackesh for the day which is amazing but very tiring, also went to essouria which is areally nice place, went on the supra tours coach which only cost 60 dhs each way(450with rep)takes about 3 hours.

We had a really good holiday, but a week was really long enough.

all in all it was an o-k holiday but wouldnt hurry back we didnt think the locals very friendly . try a cup of coffee they must make the best coffee ever ask for it with milk or you get a small cup like black treacle if you want any batteries for cameras etc get them in agadir about 1/3 of english prices and the same brands
