Well what can we say about the Hotel ?
Nothing bad the rooms although abit basic were clean and well maintained with very friendly staff.
The Hotel facilities were excellent, we only eat in the main restaurant 2 nights as we took advantage of the numerous themed restaurant which were included in the package.
The food in the main restaurant was excellent. And the diffrent selections offered a wide choice to please all tastes.
We were there for only 7 days and that was the only bad thing in relation to the Hotel complex would have loved to have been there for 14 nights if not more.
However the only bad thing we did encountered was the beach, as you went to the beach you would have thought that the country was expecting to be invaded at anytime as there was lots of building work going on especially the massive trench running the length of the beach.
Agidr itself offers all the normal facilities ie Macdonalds, Pizza hut but would recommend trying the numerous restaurants and bars.
The only real problem we had was the flights. We strongly recommend if you are not planning to book in-flight meals that you take sandwichs with you as selection on the outbound flight was very limitied. But on the return flight there was nothing on offer (unless you wanted to buy duty free) and eating Mars Bars and Pringles for 4 hours is not recommended.
I would recommend this holiday to anyone including families as there is a very good kids club within the complex. I look forward to the chance to return again.

Bad points 1st.
rooms very basic- no wardrobes, only brackets on wall with a piece of material covering hanging rail(if lucky),ours was actually the tubular TV shelf bracket.
ranch type louvre doors for shower and toilet (no privacy)
reception resemblled a nightclub coat room .
rooms need complete redecoration, they are in poor state.
never able to obtain an adjustable sunbed, they are reserved at a price(tip the pool boy as soon as you get there).
i got up at 7.00am one morning and could still not get one.
Good points.
entertainment was fantastic (22 persons in animation team)at least 12 of which were on duty all day long, you could get involved if you wanted, but were not pressurised at all.
plenty of pools to choose where to park yourself during the day, but beds sparse.
food was adequate, not a great choice, but plentiful.
staff in restaurants and most bars very polite and helpful
would definately return to morrocco, but not to this complex.
would only rate this at 2 star.

My friend was a little worried about 2 women on there own here but we had no problem although we didn't venture very far out on our own unless in an organised group except to the beach which is about a 10 minute walk from the complex, across a small road. Unfortunalty the enterance looks like a building site but once you are on the beach it is a lovely big beach but with very rough sea so you need to watch the current. You do get hassled on the beach with people trying to sell you stuff. The hotel has its own part of the beach where you can get sun beds, parasols, soft drinks and very clean toilets.
Our room was very basic as i think most of them are but the beds are very comfy. The wardrobe is just a rail by the wall and out clothes felt damp all the time. The basin is open to the room so no privacey and the toilet/shower room only has a slatted door on so if you don't know the person you have gone with well before you certainly will by the end of your holiday! but as your not in your room long we wern't bothered and when we had a problem because the shower had no hook to put it on the wall they offered us 2 other rooms which we declined and they fixed the hook straight away.
We mostly ate in the hotel Oasis resturant which is the main help yourself one. The waiters are all very attentive and once they recognise you make a big fuss of you and get you seated etc, nothing is any trouble. The choice was fantastic for breakfast, lovely omlettes and pancakes! lunch 3 courses if you wanted and the same in the evening, soft drinks, wine and beer readily available as was tea, no need to take your own bags as theres are just as good and coffee. There is a bit of a rush at the start of lunch and the evening meal as they have the most choice then but we usualy let the rush go and there was still plenty of choice. We tried the Moroccan Al a carte one night and it was ok but not great, didn't bother with the others as we liked the Oasis so much.
There are 4 pools only 1 heated which attracts all the children which makes it difficult to swim but if you time it for lunch time you get the pool to yourself but as we went in what you would class as Winter the other pools were freezing, in the summer they would be fine. Sunbeds are a problem! as there arn't enough and there are signs everywhere telling you not to save them but everybody does so its a case of if you can't beat them join them but you need to get your towels down there by 8am, once the pool man gets to recognise you he will put a matress on for you for when you get back.
The biggest problem with this hotel is the steps. There are hundreds! up and down up and down, the backs of our legs ached for a few days and if you had a pushchair it looked very tiring! Lots of people tripped up and had accidents including my friend who fell down a steep flight and pulled a ligament in her ankle, the guy at the pool bar is excellent for reflexology and helped her a lot but quite a few people ended up on crutches. BE VERY CAREFUL.
Entertainment was good and the team make a great deal of effort to include everybody but can be quite insistant even if you don't want to join in. The disco was quite disappointing but in high season is probably better.
We went on 2 organised trips. The Get to know Agadir on the Tuesday afternoon is very good and gives you a good insite to the local area, for £13 was good value. We also went to Marrakech which is a very long day, starts at 6am and is a 4 hour coach trip although you get a 20 minute comfort stop on the way. You get lunch included which wasn't very nice but you get to see the Palace, Sook and Square. You really need to be in a group if you are women on your own and you get a lot of hassle in the Sook. The drive back was awful it took 5 hours as the road was very busy and there was an accident on the way back so we did not get in till 9pm, very tiring but felt it was worth it.
I feel this holiday was great value for money and we would defnitaly go back.
We were a bit unsure of what to expect as we had never been to Morocco before but we loved it!

The food in main buffet restaurant was gorgeous. They had various hot and cold things for breakfast from pancakes, omlettes and sausages to cereal and breads. For lunch they had lots of salad, British favourites such as chips and spaghetti bolognaise everyday and various types of meat, veg and Moroccan food and they same for the evening meals. There were also 6 a la carte restaurants and you could go to everyone of them once a week. We only went to the steak house and the pizzeria but there is also a sushi, fish, moroccan and chinese restaurant.
There is lots to do in the hotel, 4 swimming pools, tennis, table tennis and the animation team organise activities in the day such as aerobics and football and they put on shows in the evenings. The hotel has its own section on the beach which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel and there is a bar that serves free soft drinks there too.
There is plenty of alcohol freely available and they serve REAL coca cola, fanta, sprite etc and the 4 bars there and the bar in the hotel lobby serves lovely cocktails at night. You can also get bottles of water at night to take back to your room.
The staff are all really friendly and the hotel rooms are cleaned daily.
In the resort itself there are lots of restaurants that line the beach front and are really cheap to eat in! You can get a main couse from £2-£4 each! We ate out twice and the waiters really make a fuss of you and give the ladies a rose as they are leaving. There isn't much else to do in the resort, we didn't go on any excursions but you could do things like go on a camel ride and visit Marakech.
If you like a holiday where there a lots of British holiday makers it's best to stay in the hotel at night because the streets and the beach front are full of locals and I would say the British and other Europeans were in the minority of about 5%. But we didn't mind because it was different.
If you're looking for a relaxing holiday which is great value for money this is a great place and we would definately go back.

Was small, basic but clean. Very pleasant views. Cleaned Daily. The Hotel Porter takes your suitcases to you room so don't worry about a higher floor, with no lifts. It's only a base, because we spent most of the time on the pool areas.
Hotel Complex:
Many Many steps. Not recommended if you have pushchairs, or disabled people with wheelchairs. Large complex, village styled. Colourful. Pretty. Lots to do and see.
Pools:
There are 4 pools to choose from, clean and pleasant. Plenty of sunbeds. Shaded areas too!
Hotel Staff:
They dont speak much English. Very basic. Try and take a french dictonary with you!
Restaurants:
Were excellent! Varied choice. Main buffet had everything to offer. Chinese was sit down a la carte style. Set menu. The Indian restaurant was excellent, set menu again, but very authentic Indian styled. Med resturant was very good too! Pizza place was also very good - they sell Pasta too!
All reservations have to be made before 10am at the main Tent, don't be late!
Resort:
Try and stay at the Hotel! Local shop-keeps harras the hell out of you. Sell Sell Sell. *(Understandable, when you see their poor living conditions!)
Beach:
Very spacius, clean. Windy, High waves. Pleasant. Nice sunsets at evening!
Excursions:
I booked a local Camel ride with a local shop-keeper. He booked it for us. 2 hours, riding a camel accross very poor villagers skip-land. poor children drinking out of wells. kids barefoot walking accross mountains of rubbish!
If you book excursions - book it via Tour Operator - they're better conditions.
Would I recomend The Caribbean Village:
Yes.
Would I recomend Morocco:
Yes. It's a good experience. It offers a different Holiday experience. Book it!
Would I go back again:
No. Because I wanna see other countries.
Book It - Have Fun!
