We booked this as a late deal and at just over the thousand pound a deal it was.
Although apartments are basic they are kept very clean with maid service almost every day.
No air con but suprisingly it was not needed actually slept in night clothes which is a first in high season!
Did not use cooking facilities unless you count making a coffee.
Pool area is kept clean with adequate sun beds etc, although some concerns about the way pool is cleaned as several blonde children during our stay have returned home with green hair, our daughter included!
Staff friendly and helpful, upon arrival we had been given a ground floor room to left of reception which had no outside area and no sooner had we asked to move than a porter arrived to take our bags to an upper level room and later returned with a table and patio chairs. Yes they do expect to be tipped for just about everything but on this occasion it was worth it!
They do provide entertainment of a fashion, but it was not particularly good and seems to be aimed at the many Moroccans staying at the apartments. Our kids were happy to hang out with the many other kids while we sat outside enjoying a glass or two or went out for dinner on our own.
We went to the supermarket marjane just to get drinks cereals frut etc and it was far cheaper than the so called one next to hotel, which on the odd occasion we used seemed to charge whatever they felt like on the day. Handy for fresh croissants or baguettes in the mornings though.
We ate out every evening and particularly enjoyed the Lebanese restaurant and the kids favourite The Petit D'ome where the stafff are very friendly and the food is not bad at all.
If you want to you can go to pizza hut and Mc Donalds as they are there too!! Yuck!
The private beaches are good as they are patrolled and you do not get hassled by people trying to sell stuff, one has a pool etc,it is 50 dirhams each for the day which is just over 3 pound.
We went on the cruise and fish trip which we enjoyed where they cook what you catch and food is included with a fantastic fresh fruit display to eat and round off the day.
All in all a good cheap holiday which the kids loved so much they want to go back next year (havent stopped emailing their Moroccan friends) but we have already booked to go to the Rising Star Apartments in Cyprus.

Apartments were kept spotless at all times. Pool area was adequate and ample of sunloungers. Pool and bar staff very helpful and friendly. First choice rep was useless! Camel trek was good fun but got very hot at times. 4X4 Safari was excellent especially the lunch break Take your cameras! Catamaran trip was a huge disappointment and was not worth the £35 per person it cost. The food on this trip was inadequate for adult males!Unlimited drinks never materialised!Berber night was the best excursion ever absolutely brilliant. Food and drink included but ask before you go about choice of wines as the night we went there was only Red! If eating out try the Mexican TACO LOCO down the steps opposite the apts and continue to your right past Le Central Karaoke bar. Sits a little off the road but prices, wine service and food absolutely excellent the best meal we ate the whole time we were there!Dodgy prawns at Catanazo(also alcohol free!)
Watch the beach as it is very unclean and all the locals use it and the tend to perv after the brits! All in all it wasn't a bad holiday.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Agadir, and enjoyed our time there.
The apartments were quite spacious, and kept very clean. The maids came in each day to clean and gave you fresh towels. There was as much very hot water as you wanted, which is good if you like lots of baths. There were mixer taps with the bath but no wall fixing or shower curtain, so it was a matter of having a bath then showering off the foam.
There was a heater in the lounge, which was just as well as it goes very cold at night in the winter.
The kitchen was small and separate, with 2 electric rings. There was also an electric kettle, and plenty of pans and dishes. The fridge was fine but didn't have a freezer box.
The apartments dont have a patio as such, but a flat area outside your front door. Some had tables and chairs, but not ours. We never got the sun there so never bothered to ask for any.
We saw a few ants in the bedroom, but apart from that they were bug free.
The swimming pool area is smallish, but fine.
There is a supermarket next door to the apartments, but it is quite expensive. The best thing to do is flag down a red taxi (there are thousands of them) ask the driver to take you to the supermarket Marjan. Costs about £1, but its too far to walk. The supermarket is huge, and you can get everything from there, and the prices are low. Taxis wait outside for your return journey.
The apartments are set right in the centre of the main tourist area, but are quiet. Not too far to beach either.
Resturants. If you turn left out of the apartment and walk for about 50 yards there is a resturant called Jazz. It has a grand piano, and it is played well, with a female singer to accompany. The waiter service is excellent, but the food is dire. Poor meat badly cooked. If you go out of the apartments and down the steps opposite, the first resturant on your right is called Fourquets, and we never had a bad meal there, so it gets our recomendation.
Money exchange over there is simple, and they all give the same rate, so no use looking about for best offers. No one charges commision.
The prom is nice and the beach is long and beautiful, although its full of traders, selling doughnuts, shirts, jewelry, etc. A polite no with a shake of the head usually gets rid of them.
We went on the First Choice, Agadir Secrets. It was a half day and only cost £6 each and was well worth it. We also booked a full day to Touradand. We never booked with the rep, but with an outside company, and were well pleased, with our day out. The Marakesh trip we left alone because it was 6am pick up and back at 11pm.
All in all we enjoyed our holiday and found the Moroccans to be very handsome race of people, full of humour, and very happy with their lives.
One last thing. If you are going to buy something, and wish to haggle the price, tell them that you will only haggle and pay in sterling. Its too confusing to haggle and divide the sum by 16. I bought a beautiful suede and leather jacket which I am very pleased with. He wanted £140 for it but I got it for £85, so it gives you an idea how high they start.
We never saw a cloud on the whole 14 days of our holiday, just sunshine, but there is a wind in Agadir, and some days it can be cool in the afternoon. Also take a warm coat for the evenings as it gets quite cold.
I hope this information is helpful, and hope you enjoy your holidays.

We expected the appts to be basic but rooms were spacious, clean and bug free.Swimming pool was dreariest Ive come across. Not too taxing 5mins to beach. The appts were undergoing major cosmetic works which was a daily annoyance,we have since been offered £25 off future brochure priced hol-worthless.
We were keen to see the REAL Morocco but Panorama trips are ridiculously priced, busses poor, taxis bandits so we hired a car £95 for 5 days. Visited Taroudant(walled town but not much else)drove over Atlas Mounts via Tiz ne Tist pass(not for faint hearted)Found decent hotel for £15.Next day Marrakesh stayed overnight at Hotel el andalous £75 (very nice 5*) later across boring plains to coastal resort Essaouria(initially grotty, but lovely old Port)stayed at Villa Mogador £35(dogs barked all night)back to Agadir via coast.Fuel £40 approx 700KMS.It would have cost close to £1000 by panorama trips!
Insist on air con,Marrakesh is like whacky races, find a hotel asap and use petit taxis to and from centre.Best scenary was Atlas Mts especially alpine north side(could have spent days there) rest was dull/dry/flat.I would thoroughly recommend a holiday to Morocco, very safe, very friendly, good value.
