Had a wonderful week in brilliant hotel. The rooms are fairly basic but the grounds and gardens were wonderful.

There was a lovely calm atmosphere about the place.
The town itself is, quite frankly, a dump but the restored part of the walls are impresssive.
The Atlas mountains, and Sous valley eastwards from Tarandout are very scenic. We also went to the Anti Atlas which are worth a visit.
Definitly hire a car for at least 2 days.Don't bother with organised trips.
Hire bike from the hotel and cycle the road due north from Tarandout. After unimpressive start there is some lovely scenery as you cycle towards the Atlas mountains.A flat quiet road which is a cyclists delight.
For some strange reason some of the guests either did'nt leave the hotel grounds or only went out on organised tours. There is no logic to this.Apart from some hassle you will be safer there than in many parts of this country.
If your main meals are included don't take too much money. You will have difficulty spending it in view of the prices.
Great for birdwatching.
A brilliant holiday.
