albufeira has good restaurants, bars and is a lovely town with friendly locals but the main attraction for us was the Albufeira beach. It is just amazing, so clean and beautiful. We spent most of our holiday at the beach. It was great

a great resort, lovely beaches, plenty to do, excellant trips available. Lisbon, lagos all worth a trip.

The Marina and Beaches were beautiful with many opportunities of long walks with excellent scenery. THe walk into town was very steep in places so I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone with walking difficulties.

This is a wonderful resort if you just want to wind down and relax for a few days. They have some wonderful restaurants near the Marina. The golf courses and also excellent.

Had a great holiday here last yea, the weather was fantastic and so was teh atmosphere, if you end up here you can't go wrong and would absolutely recomend.

Good resort with pleanty to do. Clean beaches, Great little fishing village with a beautiful harbour.

We stayed in the old town which suited us well, as we liked the characture and hustle and bustle of the square and little resaurants in the small narrow streets. Great to explore.

not much going on but nice place o eat, drink and see whats going on. lots of bars and restaurants etc to sit in but food and drink expensive.

we enjoyed all aspects of our holiday outside of our appartment. The pubs we eventually picked for our enjoyment were Freinds bar which was opposite our appartment .spotless and very comfortable. .Tracies Bar was our daytime watering hole and Eric and Sue his wife were very good company, We also called in a few times to dominos bar which was basically a portugese setup,Once again shakers was our last port of call . Overall our holiday was enjoyable and we will go back ,taking young children would also be good for everwhere was clean , and thje people we met were freindly

Well it's one of the most popular destination in Portugal and the reason is there to be seen. Fantastic beaches, safe and child friendly and a very good choice of affordable accommodation. There's plenty of restaurants to keep even the most demanding customer happy. Lots of fresh fish and meat dishes, both local and international cuisine. I recommend Albufeira regularly to friends and relatives.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

Very limited facilities. Beaches not suitable for buggies or not where we went anyway, clean place, traffic very crazy

I would defiantly recommend Albufeira and would 100% recommend the black runner tour where you can visit the caves and local shore line. The old town in my opinion is the best location unless you are on stag/hen doo's and we didn't find anywhere that we disliked the food and drink except for in our hotel.

The strip was sort of in your face spain meets blackpool ish BUT everyone was up for a laugh and seemed really friendly. However the old town seemed to have everything... atmosphere, shops, pubs, clubs, beaches, eateries etc.....

We were taken back by the amount of graffiti done outside the hotel. It seemed to be on every corner. The old town was a nicer area with lots of resturants and cafes to choose from. The strip in alberferia was more for party animals!

The resort itself is ok, not particularly expensive but not neccessarily the best of quality. For party animals there are lots of bars and clubs however we did experience some bars trying to short change us and also try to cheat you on the alcohol front. Being a large group of girls we did get lots of hassle from the locals who have absolutely no respect for women. so my advice would be to be extremely careful and always stay in a group.
