The apartments are very clean, plenty of fresh towels. There is cable TV with a few British channels. Good shower, and a separate kitchen with fridge and microwave – the only negative was no oven. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. The pool is small but it never got overcrowded – although it was early June, don’t know what it would be like in July and August. We were self catering and didn’t use the restaurant, but was told by others that is was very good.

The hotel room was modern and comfortable. We stayed in a studio apartment but it was actually a good size with a seperate fully equiped kitchen. Maid service every day and clean towels when you needed them. The pool area was quite small and not very clean. We never saw anyone clean the pool during our week long stay. Food and drinks at the pool and in the restuarant were quite expensive. In conclusion it was ok but not excellant.

We booked for a quiet relaxing holiday which was what we got. The apartments are small, clean and friendly. The rooms had a great kitchen, TV wth some english channels and a great shower. The pool area was small but nice and quiet. Eveyone there was a couple or young family. The restaurant was good too.

The area was lovely, lots of nice restaurants, a few bars (quiet or more lively with karaoke/qizzes). No night clubs. There were lots of portugese in the area which was a good sign of the quality. The beach was nice but very crowded (it was high season) there are 2 cheap supermarkets too. All in all a lovely quiet and relaxing holiday.

Resort was very quiet but plenty of nice places to eat. The aparthotel was very clean and the air conditioning was a real bonus. All of the staff were really friendly and great with the kids. Never a problem getting a sunbed and a lovely shaded area with trees for when it got too hot!

Restaurants we enjoyed were: Blues, I Fratelli, Restaurante Cantina, Passaro Azul (right on the beach front past La Cigale), Lagosteira (in Acoteias).

We had a great night out at the Marina in Villamora admiring the boats and watching the rich and almost famous go by.

The kids really enjoyed Zoomarine (so did the adults) where we had the chance to swim with Dolphins.

All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.

We have visited this resort twice now and we are going back next year. This resort is totally different from every other resort we have been to, most other holiday hotspots are just like ";Blackpool in the sun"; with a strip with pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants and Olhos d'agua made a refreshing change. There is no strip, it's more like a little village with a very pretty beach. There are load of excellent restaurants and a few bars but nothing too hectic.

These apartments were spotlessly clear with a tv, very good air conditioning both of which you don't pay for which is different as well as everywhere else you go on holiday they charge about 50 euros per week for these facilities! The apartments also have a great restaurant. If I had any complaints it would be that you have to be up pretty early for a sunbed!
