"club praia da rocha"

One of the best things about this resort is its very clean beach. Our favorite place to eat was The Sitting Bull. Word of warning don't order a starter and main course you will never finish it. Disappointed in nightlife too many irish bars

My boyfriend and I were pleased that we had managed to book a 10 day self catering holiday for £600 in what appeared to be, according to the sight we book it on, a very nice hotel. However the phrase you only get what you pay for has never been so true. Ove...

Plenty of restaurants and bars, resort low key for entertainment this time of year (late Sept early Oct). We tend to take things easy on holiday so our scores on some subjects may not be a fair reflection. Beer / lager beer around 3 euros a pint in restaurants, meal prices rangefrom 7 to 15 euros per course depending on what's ordered. The beaches are to die for, kept spotless and the sea not too cold. There are new modern beach bars serving reasonbly priced snacks during the day although the evening fare for those that remain open is pricey compared to the main area. Access to the beach would be difficult for the less able (60+ steepish steps). Marina worth a visit and perhaps take a trip to sea. The resort is fair trip from Faro (1 hr direct, 2 hrs on the milk run), recommend pre-booking transport as taxis are very expensive.

Good place to chill out in late Sept. Five minutes to the main resort and two minutes to the beach via 60 odd steps. Small bar in hotel, serves food & drinks during the day prices similar to resort. Pool area very pleasant with sun loungers (free & plent...

Praia da rocha is a concrete jungle of ugly highrise appartment blocks with a seedy strip of bars clubs and restaurants, along the clifftops. Below the cliffs are some magnificent beaches with beautifuls standing rocks in the sea and very good facilities for the sunworshipper. The marina is newly built but is totally without any character or atmosphere. Everywhere is EXPENSIVE !!!

Nice large clean appartments with poor pool, snack, and bar, facilities, in a LOUSY location miles from anywhere. A trip to the beach or centre involves a long walk along a dual carriageway or a slightly shorter walk through a scrubland flytip. Oh and the ...
