The Resort is very clean , the people are very friendly , can't do enough for you . Some excellent Tapas places close to the marina . The beach at el dorada is spot on . Only problem is the bar at the top of the beach is pretty pricey , but if you walk an extra couple of hundred yards there are some pretty cheap supermarkets

San Antonio Bay is good for all ages. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and also things to keep younger kids amused. We've been 3 times and would go back again.

Alcudia itself is a lovely place. Weather gorgeous, locals friendly,bars and food great.Beatiful beach, warm sea, clean resort.

Nice pleaseant walk to/from the beach, plenty of shops (to the hubby's dismay). Wish the drivers would slow down a bit though. My heart was in my mouth trying to cross the road each time I ventured out :(

A very quiet resort with little to do at night. There are 5 or 6 restaurants, 2 supermarkets, 1 chemist and a british themed pub. Add to that two or three gift shops and 2 car hire places and that really covers what is available in the resort. There is a large, popular beach, with life guards always on duty.

The resort was very nice, bars and restraunts just 2 mins away, everybody very friendly and i loved the boat taxi over to the San Antonio, great way to get about, overall FAB

We liked the town very much, just what we wanted. Quiet with a few bars restaurants. There is a great bakery in the church square that does fantastic sandwiches and cakes at really reasonable prices!

Portinax is a very picturesque resort. The Beaches are very clean and the sea is lovely to swim in. We hired a Pedalo out which cost 15 Euros for 1 hour. To hire a Sun Lounger and a Parasol it cost's 4.50 Euro's each for the day. The resort has some nice restaurants/ places to sit and look out over the Sea and people watch. It is very relaxing of a night. If you are looking for somewhere with alot of night life then this is not the place to go. But if you want somewhere that is nowhere as busy as San Antonio then this could be for you. There is a small kiddies playground above the beach which my daughter loved and dragged us to every night! We took the Glass Bottom Boat out for 1 hour which cost 10 Euro's for an adult and 5 Euro's for my daughter. You can see a Ship Wreck and feed the fish . We would go back to Portinax as we felt it was a nice place to chill out and unwind.

If you like Majorca, but not the night life side of it (i.e. Magaloof), then this is the ideal resort side of island to stay I would definitely return to this side of Majorca (Alcudia) in the near future

This is a lovely resort which is suitable to people of all ages.

There are a vast aray of shops, bars and restaurants for people to visit.

The beaches are clean and tidy, however, they are not large beaches.

Overall this was a great resort to visit.

Lloret is a good typical Med resort, plenty to keep you entertained, lots of good British restaurants serving fish fingers etc for the kids and lots of fun things. The waterpark is good fun.

Benalmadena is a nice resort, lovely beach and plenty of restaurants. It is only a few minutes walk to Torremolinos which is good for a change. The marina is lovely.

Torremolinos is a nice resort, lots to do in the evening, cracking weather and nice beach. Everyone speaks English, there are some decent shops. Price-wise it is OK, we would go back.

There are lots of British bars and restaurants in Maspalomas, which is great if you are travelling with young children as there is a lot of choice for them. The beach is lovely, but being the Atlantic it is that bit rougher and colder than Med destinations so you need to take care. But all in all it is a nice place and we would return.

Actually only went into resort one evenig so cannot really comment. Just came on to comment on Holiday Village Hotel
