excellent resort plenty to do during the day and in the evenings entertainment in pubs great you never weary.

arrived at hotel rooms clean food awful we were allinclusive and ate out a few times.do not go there in november as it is full of spanish pensioners who are rude ,they get a free holiday of the goverment and it seems this hotel is one they are put to the hotel is about a twenty minute walk from the old town would not recomend it .

Great resort..........couldn't count the times my wife & i have stayed here. Exchanging money now involves you taking your passport out with you, which i am not very pleased about. Great new bar called ROCKSTAR......just along from rainbow bar.......great staff,good prices & live music at night

Just spent 4 days at this first class hotel.Could not fault it in any way. All members of staff were excellant,especially FERNANDO, who is a dining room waiter.What a sheer delight this man was, always smiling & joking with the guests.I have stayed in many of Benidorm's hotels over the years & would definately stay at the Presidente again.....one of the best

Loved Benidorm as a resort, great beaches, lots to do, lovely walks!

Traveled to the Flamingo Benidorm with my husband, 17 year old daughter and her 17 year old boyfriend for a short 4 night break from 18th to 22nd November 2008. Loved the hotel, easy check in at 1am, rooms basic - had 2 one bedroomed appartments - quite spacious and very clean. Never been allinclusive before so didn't really know what to expect, was pleasently surprised, food available nearley all day long - breakfast, lunch, dinner and then snacks inbetween, snacks included toasties, salalds and assorted meats. All the meals were of a very high standard, hotel staff were always cleaning hotel, including main dance floor being polished at 12.30 am when most people had gone to bed!! Would deffinatley return, hopefully next year!!

the best 2 weeks of my life ever! none stop partying scorching hot beach water footy on the beach haha drinks being sold the atmosphere is all there.

we stayed here in july and by far it is one of the most cleanest hotels in benidorm you walk in and the floor ir polishd and all surroundnings are immense with a arcade as you walk into the right side of the hotel entrance and a large seating area and pool room outside on the balcony, has the most perfect spot to catch the sun i never have been so tanned whilst staying there. the canteen food was loveley and the wine ... the entertaiment at night was very good lots for the younger children below the age of 11 and also entertainment for the adults plus hitmotists annual bingo and live fire snake shows. the hotel has it all. its is right next to the market and a 5 minute walk from the square so if you want ure quiet nights you wil deffinatly get a few. the hotel is amazing when there is a thunderstrom it look out onto the hills so you can watch the lightening work its way through the country. over all i would deffinatly go back the staff are great helpfull and full of life and humerouse. poolside burger bars and childrens tv and films wile the parents go and have a break i would reccoment it to anybody.

You will either love or hate Benidorm.Most British stay in the Ricon or Lenvante area where the entertainment is geared towards them. From tribute acts to comedy all can be found here in a abundance of venues, bars, and nightclubs.There are also two blue flag beaches with water sports.The old town is also worth visiting with lots of tapas bars and places to eat. There is also two large Theme Parks, and a number of waterparks.

This hotel has just had a refurb in 2008 and has been updated. All rooms now have a fridge and flat screens 22' televisions. The dinningroom is large with a great range of food both hot and cold and no waiting on tables.The hotel however caters for the older guests at this time of year and the entertainment is geared towards them, but a short walk takes you to the Calle Gerona where the choice is endless.Would I visit again? yes.

We went to Benidorm this time of year mainly to see the Fiesta with its brilliant firework displays. We were not dissappointed this time. Excellent even better than last year I feel. The weather was excellent not a cloud in the sky.If you chose to eat out there were plenty of cheap to reasonably priced eating places esp the Spanish Tabernas. I recommend the Tapas bars. Benidorm has everything that any one wants on a holiday from peace & tranquility to the noise & rumbustiouness of the British bars. We like Benidorm this time of year

This was our 4th visit to Benidorm & our 1st to this hotel. From entering the hotel and our greeting at reception I new we were in for a nice time & indeed it was. Hotel was clean in every area. One could eat off the floor in the toilets(not litirally) they were so clean.Food was of a high standard,plentiful & a wide variety. Staff were happy helpful always smiling yet very professional.Balcony view was not good but all hotels in Benidorm look out over other hotels Most of the residents were of an elderly type so plenty of crutches, wheelchairs, walking sticks. The hotel was nice & quiet despite reports of much noise from a building site nearby, didn't hear a thing . For the 1st time in hotels we have stayed in Europe the T.V. channels incl BBC, ITV GOLD as well as Sky & that dreadful CNN so if you wished you could watch youe favourite programmes. We will certainly stay at this hotel again

Excellent resort the old town is the better part.

I have just returned yesterday from the Regente (11/11/08 - 18/11/08) and was struck down on my second day there with sickness & diarohea. The common topic of conversation in the hotel is the sickness as MANY people are being struck down with it soon after arriving. One of our neighbours in the hotel was hospitalised.

I've checked reports for this hotel on the net and have found NUMEROUS reports of the same reported symptoms. I wish I'd read these reviews before booking the holiday as the problem appears to be a recurrent one with reps telling us its never happened before it must be a bug that someone's brought with them! This later changed to its an airbourne bug. Speaking to local shops and bars we were told the Regente is well known for sickness & diarohea where large numbers of guests are inflicted.

The hotel appears clean and the food looked lovely although I only ate a couple of times. The only other problem apart from the sicknes was that the room walls are paper thin worse than anywhere I've ever stayed in.

People need to be aware that this problem does exist and for some reason keeps recurring at intervals inflicting large numbers of guests but certainly last week, this week, and next week look very bleak for anyone staying there.

Benidorm is not for those wanting a quiet holiday, there is always some kind of entertainment going on. Try the croc bar down by the beach during the day, or a trip upto vincents in the old town. night-time the benidorm palladium for a range of good comedians and the black chicken next door for the karaoke.. there is every kind of tribute act and to be honest as there is no door charge its always good entertainment. The cost of drinks and food is dearer but still good value. The beaches are of course the best in europe and its 4 euros for a sunbed for the day. As we never walked home at night this lessoned the risk of being mugged which l have been led to believe is a problem although while there, we never heard of any incidents, guess its just like here its all about being sensible and not putting yourself in a vulnerable situation. it has its share of street beggers although again didn't really see that many. But it is true you either love or hate benidorm... me l love it for its characters, its beaches and the fab entertainment.

although almost the last apartments out of town it is a 10min walk to the beach and 4/5 euro's to and home from the "square" there is a selection of bars close by although the main nightlife is about 10-15 min walk away but taxi rank just round corner. The apartments are lovely spacious and clean staff were friendly and the entertainment adequate especially if you like your bingo.... loved the fact there is lots of plug points for all the girly stuff, and plenty mirrors for doing make-up. the laundry room is a definate bonus. would stay here again

Just about everything you could want from a holiday resort. If you cant find your type of entertainment here you wont find it anywhere. We have been coming to Benidorm for twenty years and still find it excellent. Not as cheap as it used to be but you can say the same of any holiday resort.
