I have been going to Benidorm, on and off for almost 30 years. Since ITV started showing that show, the resort has been filled with drunk up Brits on the pull. If you still insist on going to Benidorm, try the central beach away from Levante and Poiniente, its quieter and not full of fat lazy alcoholics who cannot be bothered to walk on their own two feet. I would suggest you try getting the train from Benidorm station to Altea, Denia, Alicante or Calpe for the day. The scenery is fantastic and you find a much better class of person there. No rif raf. There is a lot more to Valencia than high rise apartment blocks and idiots trying to relive the TV show.

No shortage of bars and entertainment, noisey, but hotel provided enough entertainment so you didnt have to leave.

We do like Benidorm, there is plenty to do even out of season. The weather was mainly very nice. The only negative thing is that it is a fair way from the airport.

Benidorm, what can i say? Sun, sea, sand, its there. Its what we all expect with the added bonus of pick-pockets and muggers. The extras the holiday companies don't tell you about. In the week my family and myself were there 5 people in the hotel we were staying in were robbed. Most were by the more than expert pick-pockets. One though was a mugging of a 65 year old gentleman for his mobile phone and watch. He spent two days in hospital, no way is this the type of place you want to take your family. I couldn't even relax as every time my wife wanted to go to the shop i had to go with her as she was to worried to go alone. This was not my idea of fun at all. Having recently returned form Afghanistan i wanted to relax and spend quality time with my family. I would have been better off going to Tenby for a week. Never again.

Benidorm is just what you want to make it 2 Magic beaches Long promenade walks Plenty of night life Excellent old town for shopping Good theme parks almost always perfect weather what more do you want

At the bottom of the yellow brick road we found a bar called churchills which had live entertaiment & Karaoke with Billy Rainbow every night FAB. Had a great week. went to terra natura book your tickets with hotel/reps and jump the very long ques, its up and down and very hot so take drinks, couldnt do camel rides as told they where pregnant, couldnt do zip slide as couldnt find the start. We did swim with the sharks for 12euros, was ok you float around the top of the tank and watch them swim under you and for the price was ok this is from 4pm+. you can swim with sea lions but at 1pm only and was about 30euros? but we missed it. Also went to Fotos Algar water falls, again booked with rep, was nice and take your swimming stuff, is very cold water but great after a day.

We all go to Benidorm every year, its lovely. Lots of nice English bars and a lovely beach. Lovely to go for a walk along the promenade!

This is a great resort for couples inthe winter. Nearly every bar as a live act and the night lif is great for older couples. The market is great, mundmar is well worth a visit. The beach is golden sand.

A quiet town (in November), diverse range of restaurants, nice walk to Altea, and good bus links to Benidorm if you really want to.

A short distance from the hotel is the most fantastic beach .Miles and miles of clean sandy beach. The hotel is very conveniently situated to the new TRAM system which runs into Alicante from Av. Naciones .If one purchases a BONO card for 10 journeys , each trip costs approx. 60 pence.The BONO card can be used on both trams and buses which run very frequently.

Generally a quiet area but enough eating and drinking establishments for those who want a peaceful holiday.

Benidorm is a bit like blackpool in the sun, i did have to admit this. We went out a few night and the town was very busy with many tourist shops, bars with cheap beer and clubs. There were lots of different acts on each night which you could go to, one of the acts which everyone says you need to see is the "Sticky Vicky" act, we decieded to go see it at this bar one night, she was intresting but got slightly boring after 10 minutes as you can imagen. The food and drink were quite cheap, the beer was very cheap which is always a bonus on holiday especially with the euro been quite bad. As we were on a golfing holiday we were busy many days, there were some lovely views and golf courses which we would recommend. The beaches were nice Overall the resort is nice but a bit too commercial for me and a bit like blackpool in the sun, so i would not be returning any time too soon

What can I say! We experienced a local fiesta. It was heavy banging music until 4 in the morning and although porta toilets (2) were placed here and there, men and WOMEN were peeing everywhere. We witnessed on many occasions a house door used for bodily functions. I would hate to sample the smell in the morning. Is this behavour normal for the Spanish? I have never seen the likes! It's grotty, it's disgusting and unhealthy. NOT TO BE REPEATED!

Really short drive to the airport and back and great choice of restaurants and activities. Would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a cheap week away in the sun.

Great place t travel for people of all ages. Plenty to see and do. Mundomar is a great day out to see the dolphins. Te beaches are very clean with plenty of room for everyone
