very clean resort and plenty of shops and things to do!!beach is sound just be careful of sharp concrete drop into sea ,very friendly people enjoy!

Benidorm is a fun place to visit if you don't mind lots of noise and lots going on, we have stayed here a couple of times now and find it is a nice place for a short break. The beach is wonderful and we were there in September and the weather was still very hot.

During the day we were on Levante beach or strolling up and down the front which is really nice. Some days we would go to the Old Town which agian is a nice stroll. If you fancy a beer during theday the average pint of local beer cost 1 Euro, for continentals and bottles, they cost between 2 and 3.

We spent most of our nights watching comediens. All I can say that we were laughing every night!! Sopme nights you may see three good comediens in 1 night! Also the other acts you get to see there are brilliant. It's the only place we,ve ever visited where the entertainment caters for every body of all ages. Things don't usually get going till about 10pm - 1030pm, if your out before then you usually cop for the Bingo!!

Beach gorgeous and the shops were very individual. Some lovely walks in the area.

In Benidorm there is lots to do on a daily basis for all ages, definitely a holiday hot spot. The Hotel is situated in La Cala, approx 700m from Cala Finestrat and 500m from Poniente. The nearest beach is 300m away. Alicante airport is approximately 50 kilometres away.

Benidorm is for all the family it has everything, lovely beaches,waterparks,amusement parks ,sea life parks, indoor and out door markets, the old town is full of individual little shops and the new town is full of gift shops ,bars ,night clubs,caberet clubs,restaurants cafe bars etc

What can you say its Benidorm seen it once will not be back try Ilbir up the coast and only 1$ on the bus what a differance

If you are looking for Blackpool in the sun(which we were not) then Albir is not the place for you as there is little entertainment in the evening. But if (like us) you are wanting somewhere to chill and recharge your batteries in tranquil luxurious surroundings then you cannot do better than Albir Playa. The pool area is lovely, but you have to be quick if you want to beat the Germans to the sun loungers.

Yes Benidorm is a bit of a drive away, but the bus costs only 1 euro 20 and they run every 15 or 20 minutes. The evening entertainment is mostly tribute bands. You can pick and choose who you see and when because they do a different bar every hour. So if you miss Pete loaf at one bar you can see him an hour later somewhere else. We saw a very good Shania Twain and Queen tribute . Rose Peters(a friend of my boyfriends sister,who we were visiting) is quite entertaining too. The taxi back to the hotel was about 10 euros.

The beach is a short walk and is pebbled so be sure to pack your beach shoes or do like I did and buy a pair of croc type shoes for 5 euros from nearby shop. Also beware the sea here is not recommended for children as it gets deep very close to the shore. If you dont mind being on public view there are several oriental women offering half an hour back,shoulder and arm massage for 15 euros. You can get a variety of massages and treatment in hotel but be prepared to pay more for them.

There is something for everyone.

The beaches are great.

Some parts of the resort are lively with great entertainment.

Other parts more relaxed with great places to eat out.

If you want to get away from the High rises take a short bus trip to Altea.

Really like Benidorm, been there so many times its like a second home. Never disappoints, there are so many bars and restaurnats to walk round, and a lovely beach.

A very busy resort which doesn't leave room for boredom! Something here for everybody, young or old.

too busy in the summer but brilliant in the winter. The promenade is still very nice but the famous fountain was not working ..a little bit dissapointing. Plenty of nice places to eat but I would have liked more tapas bars.

didn't enjoy this holiday i took my family but it was a dirty place with beggars on the streets, it really is for party animals.

if you drink then you are in heavan. good beach very clean. recommend car hire to get about excursions are very expenesive
