Benidorm has something for every age group. Great beaches, great nightlife, friendly locals all in all a good place to go.

There is something for everyone whether you are young or old, party animal or want a quiet time, want paella or fish and chips, beer or sangria, lazing on a beach or sight seeing, shopping or theme parks. If you want the rowdier type of holiday where it is all Brits together then book at the Levante end of the resort - but is you want to mix more with the Spaniards and have a quieter time then book the old town or the Ponioente Beach end

we went febuary 2010. we must of picked worsed week. sunny first few days, then cold wet and windy last few days. we still had good time its wat you make of it. we went to a few shows in the bars and went to nice restaurants for food. chinese very good and cheap. the likes of burger king and macdonalds were all expensive. bars like piccadilly's 4 pints for 4 euro excellent. markets not bad for a nose. beaches exellent. going benidorm again in july so should be guarenteed hot weather. benidorm is good for everyone its what you make of your holiday

very good, cool this time of year though. suitable for the older end however this was ok for young families also

Always busy lots to do and beaches great for families and children and the prices are really cheap lots of bargains at the market wed and sundays

We really like Benidorm, there is a good selection of bars and the beach is lovely for a nice walk. We are retired and go twice a year, in and out of season. Love it.

Good resort beaches the best plenty to see and do good bus and train servie would like to see some public toilets near beach

We were there in January and the weather wasnt very good which influences very much our view of Benidorm. I felt it was tatty with very little to do during the day apart from walking the streets and getting dragged into the many cheap shops - and visiting the indoor and outdoor markets. The entertainment at night in the bars was excellent but quite a few of the nightspots were closed which meant that we we saw several of the acts more than once which spoils it a bit as they dont change the songs or the patter at all. The Benidorm Palace show was really very good and was good value for money.

What can you say about Benidorm that people don't already have a good idea about anyway..!! We love it for the weather, people watching, beaches and entertainment, there is always something going on whatever time of year you go, we went in January and the old side was very quiet but the Square on the new side was brill, Sinatra's had some fab acts on for all ages and the weather was fantastic.

The Benidorm Paladium was excellent from 2-7pm and drinks prices were good. Other bars that we enjoyed were Steptoes 11 ( the comedians were brill) and Morgan's Tavern. Last night found a ar/restaurant called Lord Nelson had brill meal 3 courses for 6euros.

lack of investment and visitors means the resort is looking dated and untidy.reps in hotel says hotels have lost 4 out of 5 visitors.

Wants a bomb under it and start all over again. Very badly maintained pavements Dirty and very unkempt

We have just entered our 60's, but this hotel was geared up for people in their 80's. We were out on the town most nights, but, had trouble finding places open who catered for young, lively minded people. The comedians who were about, were coarse and used the "F" word in front of children as young as 8. Benidorm has gone down hill from its hey day. Fortunately we were only there for a week.

I was there in the 2nd week of January and whilst there are plenty of bars, at least half of them were closed. The entertainment bars that were still open was second to none but drinks in these bars are very expensive. Also some hotels were either fully closed (like our original hotel) or partially closed. I have never seen Benidorm so quiet in all the years I have been going. Whilst I love Benidorm, it will be a while before I go back - probably when the exchange rate rises. It seems that more than England is feeling the credit crunch.
