My husband and I have just returned from a stay at the Flamingo Oasis. I have to say this must be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we are fortunate to holiday several times a year. There is nothing we could fault with the hotel. The Reception and all other staff are brilliant. The food is excellent with the biggest choice we have come across. All very well cooked. The All Inclusive option with regard to the drinks is the best. We were allowed a bottle of wine each if required. All other drinks were very good measures and the fact you could get bottles of water was very helpful when going out. We never encountered any drunkenness or bad behaviour. We had absolutely no problems with the lifts and never had any undue waiting. Our room on the 12th floor was spotless and we were fortunate to get the sun all day from early morning to last thing in the evening. We had a look around the club rooms whilst there but would definitely stick with the room we had. We hope to return as soon as possible. The location suited us as when you turn left out of the hotel past the Benidorm Palace there is a lovely walk and it is very flat. We have stayed in the centre of the old town in the past but much prefer this location.

Very clean hotel, ideal for families. Around a 15min walk to the beach and 10-15min walk to Mundomar. The food was lovely with something for everyone. Plenty of lifts to serve all the floors although first thing in the morning there can be a long wait. The pool was fantastic with a lovely childrens pool for toddlers

if you want an all inc for your family, then try this hotel. The entertainment is geared for children until 10pm. The adult entertainment is hit and miss. We went out every night to the bars over the road as their entertainment was far better. This is the 2nd year we have been and have to say we were disapointed this time, not roof top adults only pool unless you have booked it first, so big disappointment as you have to put up with sreaming children all day and night!. The food was luke warm on ceetain nights and not a whole lot of choice, if we had beef the night before it was in a stew or curry the next. Lots of stag and hen parties who made a lot of noise late at night. Very clean and hotel staff friendly but wont be returning

"Best hotel weve stayed at"

Amazed that people find anything to complain about this hotel, its very impressive ,the rooms are really clean and spacious, the balconies are large and private and have a pull out dryer so no need for pegs and string.. the bathrooms are huge , not like the usual basic accomodation , theres champagne on arrival , In the dining hall between the usual meals breakfast, lunch and dinner they have snacks up until early hours...there is something for everyone, seven serving stations including an italian bar, salad bar, dessert bar, childrens and vegetaarian..there is a different calvery twice a day/everyday.. there is also a pool bar serving burgers hotdogs and chips, also coffee and biscuits in the reception bar in the afternoon.. I would reccommend a low floor as there are 25 floors and sometimes have to queue thou we didnt find any problems on the 4th floor..found it hard to spend much money as we drank bottled water all day, kids had soft drinks and ice lollies and the men drank lager.. Entertainment was really good, although hotel could do with some more tables and chairs.. plenty of shops nearby near the main shopping area, indoor market etc, to go the best area of the beach ,you can get a bus outsid hotel and get off at the central bus station, its just a short walk to the beach,we always sit just down from burger king, its a lovely spot ,no rocks.

Having read some of the previous reviews we were a bit apprehensive about this hotel, and even considered changing hotels. We needn't have worried. The hotel was spotless with a very impressive reception area. The pool area was cleaned twice daily, before opening and after closing before the evening entertainment. The sunbed run was funny and mostly taken lightheartedly. At 8.30 some people did decide to sprint and place their towels on the floor were they wanted their sunbed to be. The normal people stood back and watched the scramble before calmly walking over for a sunbed! They were still usually beds available 30 minutes later, but the best positions had been taken. The food in the Restaurant was very good and catered for all tastes, but could have been a bit warmer at times. The meat was lovely with a joint being cut and served twice daily. The desserts were something special - you can't be on a diet at this hotel!! Don't leave your table unattended as the waiting staff will have it cleared. The rooms were ok though our room had a tatty wall on one side. The bath was also rusty on the bottom so we always had a shower. There are two sinks in the bathroom and also a bidet. The lifts did seem a problem, but as we e-mailed and asked for a first floor room, we always used the stairs. The hotel is in an excellent position with the beach about 15 mins walk, and loads of shops, bars and cafes/restaurants. Aqualandia and Mundamar are about 10mins walk up a hill and well worth going to. Booking them in the town is cheaper than with the tour rep. We booked with 'Roundtown' which is 5 mins down the road. The circus up the road behind Benidorm Palace was very good entertainment. The waterfall trip (El Algar) wasn't as good as expected and the water was freezing. While we were there, the Hotel was mainly used by young families. There were no problems with lager louts, hen/stag parties etc. We would not recommend this hotel for people wanting a quiet holiday though because it is family orientated. The Hotel entertainment team all worked hard and were very professional in their shows eg Grease, Dirty Dancing, We will rock you. The performance of The Full Monty was not to be missed! All in all, a very enjoyable family holiday with no complaints.

"more space around pool to be excellent"

Overall Hotel Rating:

For all inclusive the food and drink is very good. If there was a queue if was only for a couple of minutes so no longer than any other bar really. Activities running all day - usual competitions. Evening entertainment was good, a lot of people spent all the holiday in the hotel so that must say something. Plenty of pool tables. Room cleans and nice views on the upper floors. yes they have adults only rooms on the top floors, Lifts can wait a while and hot as a sauna at times but they do arrive eventually and the biggest problem is with kids pressing the buttons for a laugh, not the hotels fault. If I could fault anything it was the space around the pool. Plenty of sunbeds but you did feel squashed up. yes the dash for the sunbeds was on at 0830 however later in the afternoon you could get a bed easily.

"A Good Choice"

Overall Hotel Rating:

This hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with a very large bathroom with double sinks. The pool was smaller than it looks on the photos but still one of the better pools we saw looking out on to other hotels nearby. The food and drinks are plentiful but can get a little repetitive and there are some 'interesting' interpretations of 'British' dishes like yorkshire puddings and apple crumble! Some of the bar staff can be a little rude and they are real jobsworths when it comes to the rules about how many drinks per person etc! We expected the hotel to be busy as we were staying in peak season, and it was, but we didn't find the queues excessive and as long as you are prepared to get to the pool early in the morning there were enough sunbeds to go round. We were disappointed with the entertainment and it was amateur to say the least, they couldn't even get miming to songs right! The kids club staff were lethargic and didn't seem particularly interested in entertaining the children but i suppose girls of that age have other motives for taking a job in Benidorm! overall, we feel we got good value for money and would definitely recommend an all inclusive option especially as everything seemed so expensive when out and about the local area. The hotel was a good choice looking at others nearby although be warned that the totally inadequate lifts will drive you crazy by the end of day two!

We have returned this afternoon after a weeks holiday, The Hotel is fantastic with facilities and cleanliness top class, I have to agree with the other holiday makers with regards to the sun beds and chairs (Its like the olympic games!!) I have never witnessed such childlike behaviour from adults when trying to get a sun lounger. Grown ups running for dear life at 8.30am in the morning!!! Its no wonder that the Brits have a poor reputation oversea's. The Hotel as a whole is excellent, with upto date facilities and friendly staff. This is the first time we as a family have gone all inclusive and I would definately recommend it to anybody wanting a relaxed family holiday.

WELL DONE ALL!!!!!

I have never been All Inclusive before and was extremely impressed with the standards in this hotel. The food was varied and of an extremely high quality, there was always something for my two very fussy children!! Cleanliness of this hotel was extremely impressive! My kids loved all the entertainment available throughout the day. Fabulous pool, extremely spacious and there was always plenty of beds.

Lovely friendly staff, overall a lovely hotel would definitely recommend.

Hotel is very nice and clean and rooms are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. However, the people that go there let it down and make every aspect of your holiday a nightmare. The rush for the sunbeds in a morning is pathetic, the people are having to be held back by security staff whilst the pool and the terrace are finished being cleaned and this is at 7.30am in a morning. Towels are being placed on them and then the people are off out for the day not even using them and therefore leaving others without sunbeds. breakfast and other mealtimes are also a joke, if you get a table and then decide to leave your dinner halfway through to get another drink, when you return, your meal has gone, the staff do not give you time to eat your meal in peace without being rushed. At night, to get a chair is a nightmare..tables and chairs are being dragged around and positioned to where others want them and saved...we had to sit on a sunlounger with our drink as there was no chairs left!! Basically there is not enough chairs, tables or sunloungers for everyone when the hotel is at full capacity. It would have been better also if we had tea/coffee facilities in our room as when you have to get up at 7.30am to get a sunbed and then come 18 floors up to your room and you cant have a drink as the coffee bar isnt open til 9am is not good. There is not enough lifts for how many floors and people there are. The food is very repetitive and too english..there was no paella in the week we were there or sangria. The hotel just couldnt cope with the amount of people it had in it. The pool is just not big enough for all the water games the staff put on. The terrace around the pool is not big enough for the amount of people on it. To say that we paid alot of money for a family of 3 to go for one week in july and we got this is upsetting...this was the first time we had gone all inclusive and it will be our last. I would rate this hotel as a 3 star not 4. The management do not care of your happiness as their just happy that they had your money.

Hotel cleanliness was 1st class as well as food, hotel staff, bar staff, maids, entertainment . T he hotel and rooms were spotless. Different carvery every day.swimming pools was lovely, kids club excellent. Only 15 minutes walk to the beach. We didnt do beach much stopped at our lovely hotel. Also visited mundomar and aqualand, arranged with our thomson rep for us to pay for my little boy to interact with dolphins, the sheer look of delight on his face was worth every penny.
