Just returned from Hotel Melia from 3 nights on a Hen Weekend.. Staff were excellent, Rooms were lovely and clean, location was also excellent and the Hotel Surroundings where also lovely, although Benidorm is very built up you wouldnt realise as the pools were surronded by Palm Trees!!! The only problem was the lifts, we were on level 18 and 19 and the lifts were very slow which was a pain!. I would recomend no higher than 10 if you can help it. The Hotel is in a great location, Benidorm Palace just 10 mins walk, supermarket and a couple of pubs opposite which didnt cause any problems. Also the Hospital is moreless right behind the hotel just in case! I would recommend it for young, older, hens stags etc! Perfect!!!

Booked this hotel/flight through easyjet hols.We have been to spain for 8 w/end breaks this year and this has to be one of the best hotels and certainly best value for money. When we arrived we were offerd a room on any floor we liked. Enough bars/entertainment local to hotel,so did not need to venture into hte more hectic part of town(was there last year with a mate)

Definatley a hotel to try.

I have just returned from this hotel and all i can say it was fantastic. Its spotlessly clean. The food is all fresh and meat/fish is cooked for you as you wait. The staff at the hotel are so nice and friendly. The only thing i can say is that there arnt enough sun beds by the pool but we put our towels on the grass and was just as comfortable. No safe despoit boxes to pay for as they are free and you dont have to fork out the deposit on your tv remote...yes we have had to pay this in the past. There is only one more thing i can say about this hotel...if u have not been....Go!!!!.

Just returned from Melia Benidorm Hotel on the 24 july 2007 and had a fantastic time.

Hotel is beautiful and definately lives upto its four star rating. Every room has beautiful panoramic views of the two very large superb pools. The higher your room the better chance you have of seeing the sea, we were on the 17th floor (room 1709) it was lovely. Rooms very large and clean and maid service every day. Free minibar (small fridge) and television (only 2 or 3 english speaking channels). Food was lovely and lots of variety, men must wear long trousers in the restaurant for evening meal only. Entertainment every day and night, although we felt it catered for the spanish more. However this hotel would suit everyone including families.

The hotel is in the Rincon de loix area, set back from all the bustle in the resort. It would take you no more than 10 minutes to walk to centre and beach. We went to the bars just up from the hotel which had entertainers on every night. Drinks in the Hotel bar are expensive, there is a cheap supermarket across the road from the hotel for cheap drinks for the balcony. The rooms have free air-conditioning which was great as the weather was very hot day and night. Lots of sunbeds and two very large pools. Pool bar was average, food all precooked and they would heat it up, but ok for a lunchtime snack. Just outside the hotel you can get a bus into the old town for only 1 euro, bus no's 1,4,10 - this also drops off in the centre of new town to save walking!

Overall we would recommend this hotel, its definately one of the best in the resort and we will return again.

What a delight the Melia hotel is, although it is more for people who wish a relaxed holiday.

Nice clean room, food very good, plenty room around the pool with lovely trees to take cover under if you wish. As my Husband was not to well when we were in Benidorm, we just went into the main part one night. I must say it needs a good clean up. Found a diffrence from the last time we were there. Booked the Melia for 10 nights half board, had to come home early as my Husband was getting worse, so booked a flight home 3 days early. We were to get picked up at the hotel at 18.30 for our flight home, asked the lady a reception if we could go in for lunch as we would miss dinner at night. She went on to the computer and she told us as we were half board we could not go for lunch, we could get a packed lunch if we wanted. Thought this was poor show indeed. Wanted to get the manager but could not face the hassel as we just wanted to get home. Sorry Lady a reception but nil points to you. Shuttle service first class. Got home safe. Husband is now in hospital. No doubt if things had have been diffrent it would have been a great break.

I would recoment this Hotel to anyone
