hotel in ideal postion for main town centre located in new benidorm. this hotel need refurbishment but can not fault the food while we stopped there as we stopped for breakfast, lunch and tea which is the first time we have done this over the years in the different hotels we have stopped in benidorm. the food is not great but better than what we have experienced in other hotels. i.e our friends stopped at the same time as us at the pelicanos and were served CHICKEN every day and resorted to eating out for 4 of there 7 day stop.

service was excellent informed reception we had no slip mat in our bath and within 5 mins of reporting this ,we were delivered mat to our room.

1 point is if you use this hotel be careful of slippy floor in bathrooms. 2 different size rooms larger rooms at the front of hotel ask for single beds rooms. there only 2 lifts in this hotel and very small for a 12 storey hotel.

people have made comments that this hotel was below-par but obviously have not stopped in other hotels in benidorm as there a lot worse.

Wasn't looking forward to going to this hotel after reading other peoples comments but all I can say is I don't know what some people expect. The hotel is in an excellent location, its pretty basic but clean. You could always find something to eat. Some reviews have said not for people that are house proud, I am the most fussy person but had absolutely no problems, towels changed every day. If you had a complaint they quickly resolved it. Always plenty of sun-beds and the pool area was never over crowded. You pay for a 3 star hotel and that is exactly what you get. If you want luxury then go for something with 4stars. We had a great holiday and wish we were back there.

Don't go to this hotel and expect the ritz, you get what you pay for.

Rooms could do with refurbishment but are very clean with maid service daily. Meals are adequate, and we always found something that we could eat. Our 10 year old was more picky with the food, but loved the pool area which was nothing brilliant, but again adequate if you didn't want to go to the beach. Turn right outside the hotel and you will find Ray's Chippy or the Penny Farthing. both great food and well priced. Same area you will find a market that is on a Wednesday and a Sunday, but be prepared to haggle for certain items. Nightlife busy, but if you have young children a lot of the acts are for ADULTS ONLY. There is a singer at the hotel who is good, but by the end of the week I knew his repetois off by heart.

Have just spent the worst three days of our lives in this resort. The food in the hotel was aweful as are the rooms. The noise from the drunks outside kept us awake most of the night. We could not find anywhere decent to have a meal in Benidorm. There are beggers everywhere. We where offered drgs for sale and entrance to a brthel all with in a hundred yards of the hotel. We where lucky enough to get some early flights on the internet to get home.

Will never go back to Benidorm (It is a Dump).

I would advise anyone considering the Rosairie Hotel to think again, the hotel was very basic and the food was awful after two days i had a stomach ache which i still have 6 days later, the pool area is from the late 70's no facilities for kids of any age, the noise in the hotel at night woke us up nightly, i found the staff whilst civil that was all, they did not try to help in any way.

I was very disappointed as this hotel was recommended by Barrhead Travel (i wont use that Company again) and being the Scottish October week was not cheap.

We had to eat out and this cost us a fortune, very little in Benidorm for kids more for adults, or hen/stag parties.

Just returned today from one week holiday at the Rosaire.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of the action, however it is in desperate need of some modernisation. Tbe rooms themselves were roomy enough, 2 single beds and bed settee, and bathroom sufficient. Maids cleaned every day. Our main gripe was the dining room and the food. Room was not big enough to cater for amount of guests, food was only luke warm and there was not a lot of choice. Juice machine and toast machine very slow which held everything up causing a lot of congestion in a small space. Food, crockery, cutlery etc were running out all the time and took a while to fill up. As far as we could see fire escape route also questionable.

Benidorm, itself is excellent, there is something for everyone and the nightime entertainment is second to none. Although John and Josephs (opposite Ambassador hotel) is criticised we found the food and drink as good as anywhere else and a lot cheaper(Open from 7am to 5am (only closed for 2 hours). The Chinese Restaurant (also opposite Ambassador) is brilliant, 3 courses and 1/2 bottle of wine or beer for only 3 euros 95cents. On our last morning we had an early start(pick up 7.30) and would have liked to get a cup of coffee at least, but hotel was adamant would not open dining room til 8am, even though their sister Hotel the Rosamar open their dining room at 6am or 6.30am for early departing guests to get at least a drink.

We would not go to the Rosaire again unless it was a VERY VERY cheap offer.

was very surprised when i arrived at the Rosaire as alot of people said it wasn't very nice at all. It is very basic but its very very clean, there isn't much choice in the food but what is there is very nice. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly.

The rooms are a good size and the maids change towels and sheets every day. Pool a nice size and plenty of beds and brollies

you have to see Rose Peters !!!!! class act

just arrived back 23 july 05 after spending 2weeks half board at this hotel.

dining room. meals very basic and not enough choice you will be very lucky to find a clean table. pool area. swimming pool to small not enough sun loungers always hard to find one. bedrooms too small and need updating. lifts very small found it quicker walking down stairs and we was on the eleventh floor.

if you want some sleep at night dont get a room at the front. very noisy groups of people shouting as they went by. but this hotel was noisy anyway. groups of teenagers banging on doors shouting from balconies. always took over the pool. o by the way i had a upset stomach for the last 5 days of the holiday and still got one now.

would not stop at this hotel again.but would go back to benidorm

The hotel is very central to everything, beaches, pubs, restaurants, etc. The food in the hotel was very good. We are fussy eaters but managed to eat every night in the hotel. The staff were friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day.

Our 6 year old really enjoyed Mundomar, seeing the dolphins, sea lions, etc. We got a free entry voucher for him at McDonalds when we purchased a happy meal. Look out for special offers at McDonalds, some of them have different offers. Terra Natura is good too, a bit more expensive than Mundomar.

The weather in Benidorm was very hot. It was up to 42 degrees before we left (16/07/05). They were expecting a heat wave. Excellent if you want a tan!
