The Villa is very well appointed in an excellent position. A large pool area has views over the sea, although the main road does pass right in front of the pool area. There is a small path opposite which leads down to a lovely bay with one small bar. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby, with one lovely restaurant within walking distance, El Timon.
Unfortunately during our stay we were burgled. We felt someone was watching the property earlier in the week, however, poor outside lighting and overgrown shrubbery meant it was impossible to tell. Whilst out one night the window was forcibly opened and every drawer, zip, cupboard and bag was searched, even the fridge / freezer and oven, they even stole the cheese from the fridge. There is no alarm and no safe, we took every single precaution possible and locked the premises fully every time we went out, shutters, windows etc etc but this was not sufficient - be warned. I have notified the agent leasing the property and made recommendations for improvements. Further inspection lead us to believe that the property had been targeted before.
Moraira is a small, pretty town with a lovely marina. Lots of lovely restuarants both in the town and just outside.
