I like this city, rather closed to barcelona good beaches, but there are too many old couples ))) there isn't crazy nightlife, rather silent nice city

Nice resort for a short stay but nothing on offer for children or young adults. The beach was a bit gravelly. There was a bit of nightlife. Food and drink was expensive.

There are plenty of places to eat, all open late. Tryed 6 different restaurants and all were OK. Dont bother with dessert, instead try one of the many ice cream parlours (heladeria) that are about. Delicious!

Spoilt for choice on nightclubs and bars. So many you wont do them all!

If travelling with small children, then I highly recommend the toddlers mini theme park in Lloret. We stumbled upon it. Go alongside the bus station keeping it on your left hand side and walk down the street for about 5 blocks and you will come across it. Bumper boats, mini train ride, trampolines, ball pit, motorcycles, video arcade etc etc. all open until 1AM!!!!

A lovely quiet resort with nice clean beaches and lovely little walks with friendly locals. Nice barsa, coffee shops and restaurants suitable for families.

Excellent bus and train service to Barcelona and other resorts should you want an excursion. Lloret centre is more geared to young people, lot's of clubs etc, although the old town is very nice. If you are an older trveller without youngsters then I would recommend the Fenal beach area as it is somewhat quieter, but still enough to do.

Total cheapo cheap. Blackpool in Spain. If you are short on tacky T-Towels and decoritive castanets then Lloret is for you. If you want to get blind drunk and eat cheap sub-standard food, Lloret is for you!

The resort was quite, lovely beaches. You can get a massage for only 5 euro. I stayed at the Santa Susanna resort in santa sussanna, with my partner for a week from 16-24 Sept 09. I had read the reviews and was really worried about going. We were both pleasantly surprised. The hotel was extremely clean, and our room was cleaned and we were given fresh towels every day. I saw people cleaning from 8am-10pm they never stopped. The food was fine, yes it was not the Ritz/Hilton but we had not paid for that, it did get a little repetitive by the end of the week but there was plenty of choice and it was always hot. The staff were very polite and helpful, so I can not understand why some reviews said they were rude. At the end of the day if you’re polite to people you will get the same in return. There is only one real bad point about this hotel and that is the noise. We had a lovely view of the pool but the entertainment was on every night until 12am, so you could not go to bed any earlier as the music was quite loud, also the walls are extremely thin and we could hear people talking next door in there rooms and coming and goings of cases rolling along the corridor floors day and night. My self and my partner are light sleepers so this was not the best hotel for us. If you are heavy sleepers or not bothered about a bit of noise then this is the perfect hotel for you.

A quiet resort with a few gift shops, a market and lots of cafe's and restaurants. No nightclubs. Ideal for a wander round in the evening to pick up a few souvenirs and have a cocktail whilst the kids eat ice cream.

Lovely resort with lots of plces to eat and enjoy live music in the evenings. good for all ages lovely sandy beaches and small funfare for the children . There is a station in santa susana where you can get the train to Barcelona.

The fact that the beach is across the road is and added bonus and a beautiful view from the panoramic glass elevators. The area Pineda is bustling with people enjoying themselves and is lovely to take a walk through of an evening, and the friendly people serving ice-creams just add to the charm. The train station is two minutes walk and there are regular trains into Barcelona and takes an hour for 5.50 Euros return.

The Position of the hotel from the Town and the beach was good and was a nice pleasant walk to both of them. Watch out at night in the area as most of the shop keepers try there hardest to get you in there shops ( Annoying ). Overall Lloret de mar is a nice place and the Hotel was great we would definatley go again. Also look at Surf mar which is a Samba hotel but near the Beach ( Looks nice ).

Tossa De Mar is a a quaint village with a pretty beach and fort. Barcelona is only a 90 min bus journey away and there were many bars and restaurants offering reasonable (ish) priced food. The whole time is geared to tourists though and you are not likely to get a taste of the real Spain.

Tossa de Mar is a beautiful resort, the old town in particular is interesting with its winding streets and ample bars and cafes.

I would say overall the resort is probably mainly for young party goers but not to the point you cant enjoy it.The beaches were quiet nice and plenty of shops to explore.

A really nice hotel in a great location, with pleanty to see and do for people of all ages. Approximately 5 m inutes walk for the hotel is the local train station which for a few euros takes you all the way to Barcelona for just a few euros. The hotel would also be suitable foor anyone wanting a nice realxing break as all of your needs are well catered for within the hotel.

good clean and well maintained. would recommend area for families. Sea not suitable. Never foudn much entertainment for small children, therefore ended up at hotel each night which was great
