This hotel was excellent - definitely worth the 4 stars!! we had maid service everyday - lovely to come back to your room after a day by the pool to find it spotless!! the sunbeds and parasols by the pool were free and you didnt need to be up at the crack of dawn to get them. The pool area was excellent - a big freeform pool with waterfalls and a bridge, and 2 smaller childrens pool. The hotel also has an indoor pool and a jacuzzi type pool although we didnt use these as the weather was too good to be indoors! The hotel doesnt cash travellers cheques but the Hotel Hawaii just up the road does.

We felt very safe in the hotel; every day by the pool a man would come and ask you for your room number and name to check you were staying in the hotel - he threw a few families out who had came to use our pool from other not as nice hotels. Fair enough I think!!

Well wot can I say, the hotel is great and you can't fault the cleaners as they do a superb job, also the reception staff are friendly (the ones that can speek English that is!!!)
All the previous comments are correct regarding the mopeds and bartering in shops, also Seven Seas has the friendliest staff.

But please be warned, if you go on holiday to relax whilst your children make new friends and play and you expect to meet nice people, DON'T go to Lloret de Mar, our kids were board as no English children to play with, no kids English in the Kids club and no English entertainment whatsoever in the hotel. The food in the hotel was so bad even our kids wouldn't eat it so we spent an absolute fortune on eating out enven though we paid for half-board, we would have been ok if self catering.

We would deffinately NOT go back.

this place is a must its clean friendly well kept clean and the food is really nice although its mainly for other nationalities the beach is shingle the veiws are spectacular the night life isnt fantastic but what do you expect with a child food is preety reasonable WATCH OUT FOR MOPEDS town centre is lively shops are crafty but be prepared to barter. the maids speak very little english but try their best the mini bar is good value if you need a fridge and i recommend the safe

everything is within walking distance and the two for one at most of the pubs and bars ae for more than the said dtime so check watch out for the black and yellow flys as they bite and the sting stays ith you for up to a month well have ahappy holiday as we did so see ya there next year

ROSAMAR GARDEN RESORT:The standard of the accomadation was very good, rooms were very clean and spacious, maid service was every day, which was excellent! There was a very large outdoor pool which was kept very clean,an indoor pool, sauna, turkish bath and jacuzzi. There was even a gym if you could be bothered to use it!There was a games room with pool table, video games etc,and even mini golf at no extra charge.
There was a large bar area, but drinks were a bit on the expensive side. The only down side to the Rosamar was there wern't hardly any english families, they were mainly german, french, and dutch. So all evening entertainment was in german, which isn't much good if you're english. We were pleased that we hadn't gone full board only self-catering cos again they only mainly catered for other nationalities.

THE RESORT OF LLORET:
We travelled to lloret on the 20th of may, from the time we arrived until the time we left the weather was fabulous! We had read plenty of reviews before leaving and had mixed feelings. The beach was as described like cat litter, having said that it was spotless and it didn't put us of one bit, there were some lovely places to walk and the kids tried to catch little lizards on the walls down the far end of the beach. There are hundreds of shops to look in,sometimes the owners follow you around, which can be a bit annoying! The best place we found to eat was an english owned bar called PICADIILYS,with anything from steaks to a good old english breakfast,at very reasonable prices. We also loved the casa chinese at only just over 8euros for a 3 course meal, with really friendly staff. The other pub which we found great was a scottish bar called Bravehearts, they did special cocktails for the kids for 1 euro. And adult ones two for 5 euros.

We took the kids to Marine land on the free bus which you catch from the bus terminal in lloret. It was a brilliant day out and worth going just to see the dolphin and sealion shows, the place is also a waterpark which our kids loved, and would quite happily stayed longer if they could!!If your thinking of going to lloret this year,GO you will love it!!!OH one last thing a big thank you to our jmc rep Mick he was great!

WOW, what a hotel food is excellent, rooms are clean, tv is free mini bar is of average value, cleaners dont understand english , chef is brilliant , staff are extremely helpful ,kids club is average , sadly the entertainment is all in spainish and the hotel caters for every one if you visit in may and go half board you automatically get upgraded to full board, the indoor bar is quite expensive compared to all the other local and beach bars, pools are clean saunas are great, gym is average, use your phone in your room as it is cheaper than using your mobile or phone kiosks, beds are comfortable ,

be prepared to haggle in all shops, avoid sea front shops they try to rip you off. Watch out for mopeds in all streets theyre mad aviod the jewellery as most of it is coated and not real, the beach is like building sand but the seais quite refreshing as normal there is cranes refurbishing and little building wrk in the centre, the centre shopping centre is extremley cheap and so is tobacco and alcohol see ya there next year
