fantastic resort. lots to see and do with only a short bus ride to other resorts. loved it and will be going back again.

Tossa De Mar is an absolutely gorgeous resort!! Lots of lovely little shops, plenty of restaurants. Lots to do - boat trips and places of historic interest. Can't wait to go back!

The hotel is 5 mins walk from the bus station, 15-20 mins walk from the beach and a very pleasant 10mins stroll to the resort centre.The bars were nice never visited the piano bar much but it had a relaxed atmosphere, the main bar was nice but the pillars got in the way. The little cottage style bar was my favourite as it was never too busy (apart from when Arsenal were playing! But even then there was 10-12 tables spare. This bar was again relaxed and calm. Never went to the nudist roof in peak hours but did when everyone was gone. Lovely Jacuzzi and lovely views over the hotel.

Nice place but very quiet at that time of year and a lot of places were closed. Good restaurants. Nice and quiet resort (at that time of year anyway).

Tossa De Mar is a a quaint village with a pretty beach and fort. Barcelona is only a 90 min bus journey away and there were many bars and restaurants offering reasonable (ish) priced food. The whole time is geared to tourists though and you are not likely to get a taste of the real Spain.

Tossa de Mar is a beautiful resort, the old town in particular is interesting with its winding streets and ample bars and cafes.

The beach was only about a 5 mins walk! It was a really nice beach !!! *warning* nude sunbathers!! The sand was funny! it was like tiny pebels! he sand was so hot that you couldn;t walk on it for more than a couple of seconds ! We went 2 barcalona for a day with a trip. It was very nice! it was 40 degrees there.. It maintained around 34 - 38 degrees in tossa! There were lots of shop close to the hotel. It was like a giant market. There were loads of places to eat there. There were restraunts by the castle! Overall, the holiday was good, no nightclubs close so besically its a cheap beachy holiday!

Castle next to the beach - recommended for nice views from the top. Very pleasant walk along streets of old town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Tossa is lovely and has its own character. We did not want to go back.

Overall, good beaches, plenty of things to see and do, but expensive cost of food & drink. The Light Tower is definetly worth seeing and offers lovely views

As we did not eat out or go to any of the nightlife I cannot comment on them. The town is lovely with lots of shops. The walk up to and down from the castle is lovely but very steep and definitely not for the less abled. It is best not to do this walk during the hottest part of the day. It is a long way up to the top but well worth the climb. The views are lovely all around. The beach is lovely and suitable for younger children.

This is a very busy resort and there is plenty to do, excellent selection of bars and restaurants and we really enjoyed exploring the old town. The beaches are sandy with lifeguards so great if you have children. It can be a bit noisy at night but we weren't to bothered by this as we could escape back to the hotel for peace and quiet.

Tossa it's self is lovely and it's not built up which is a good thing. The beach is clean, but not sandy, the view from the castle is beautiful. we were all inclusive but went out for a meal one nigh by the side of the castle walls it cost 16 euros each but was a lovely 3 course meal with a bottle of wine each. The prices in the bars were a little bit pricey but that's the euro at the minute. Tossa is for couples or family's it would suit anyone.

Tossa is lovely. Beautiful beach with fabulous reataurants (expensive) within the castle walls. Little narrow streets of the old part more than make up for the non-discript new part. No night-life tho. So if you are looking for a restfull holiday, choose Tossa.

Having said this, we quite enjoyed the resort of Tossa de Mar. It has lovely local housing and a lot of history, castle and churches etc. The restaurants up near the castle were lovely and you can get some great meal deals. The only thing we disliked about the resort was that it was very touristy.
