A resort for more of a beach holiday, the spanish visit here in their droves and there is not lots to do but sit on the beach, go the water park or shop and walk around. It is easy to take the train to other resorts along the coast and it is cheap too on the train.

This really is "Eng-ger-land" in spain isn't it? not a word of spanish ever spoken. all the restaurants serve only english food, and not only that, the menu's consist only of pictures of the food so even the illiterate brits can order just my pointing and "i want that one".

We only go to this resort because we love the hotel. We don't venture into the town centre of the resort so cannot comment.

The marina area is worth a visit.Cant coment on eating out.My brother and his family went to the water park.It was so hot even the locals were fainting.Had to line up for ages to get onto flumes etc.

Didn't get to see much of this resort, but it seemed to have plenty of water sports activities, nice restaurants and a lovely picturesque marina.

Nerja is a fab resort for a sunny spanish break. It has several beaches- our favourite was Burrianna, which has restuarants right on the beach and a street of bars resturants and shops right along the front. The beach also has a few kiddies play areas dotted along, volleyball courts and water sports such as pedaloes, cannoeing, speed boat trips, snorkelling. The town itself has everything you need as a tourist, while retaining some spanish flavour. There are restuarants to suit every budget and taste, and a night club district whi is very self contained.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

Brilliant, We go there every year . It has a lovely town and lovely beaches...Lots to do and the food prices were brill.

We only went to Benalmadena twice and on both times there was loads to do. More if we had spent time looking around. Marina was nice!

We went down to Benalmadena twice a nice place lovley harbor with nice little shops and places to eat and a sea life centre there too. The beach is nice too with a nicewalk way along.

the resort is lovely if you go try the park where chickens peacocks rabbits etc come to feed from you. also the turtles and koi in the pond are excellent. The star pub does an excellent pint in ice cold glasses it is straight opposite the hotel riviera. I didnt like the beach as it is shingle but that didnt bother me I stayed round the pool (I prefer powder white sands)

didnt see much of the resort this time round but ive been to benalmadena on other occasions and must say its was great

Like Blackpool with sun. The life outside the hotel starts after dark, there are car horns tootling all night.

The Hotel Riviera has been a favourite with our guests for years. Its enduring appeal is twofold. Firstly, it’s part of our Exclusively for Adults range, which means the hotel doesn’t take bookings from under 16s. Secondly, it’s in a great spot. You’ll find this high-rise number on the main road through Benalmadena - you’ve got cafés and bars more or less on your doorstep. Plus, it’s only a ten-minute walk down to the marina. And if you want to go further afield, there are bus stops outside the hotel, with buses heading for Fuengirola and Malaga. As well as being central, this place is right by the sea. The pool and sun terrace overlook the Med, and there’s a lift that’ll take you down to the beach.
