the beach is a shingle beach so a bit sharp at times to walk on, the parking was very difficult but managed to park in an underground park station and cost us 11 euros for 6 hours

Great. Nice beach, loads of good quality restaurants. Good range of visitors and nationalities. A few hen parties (no problems), everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Never saw the resort only the hotel bathroom. Would love to have seen more of the resort but we were ill all the time and then at the hospital

It’s nice to be a bit out of the main town area but a very good bus service to and from Torremolinos is available just a few minutes walk away from hotel, there is also a taxi rank outside the hotel or the reception staff are very happy to ring a taxi for you.There is a train which passes through Malaga airport and stops at La Colina which is the closest station to the hotel ticket costs less than 2 euros – but this is only recommended if travelling with backpacks as it is not suitable to walk from La Colina to the hotel carrying a suitcase! When exiting La Colina head towards the sea front (away from the dual carriageway and within 10-15 minutes walk you will see hotel sign Riu Belplaya.

Not as bright and brash as we had imagined. Just a couple of minutes too and you are in the mountains so you get the best of both worlds.

this is a good resort for couples, familys . it has lovely beaches, plenty of restaraunts, a amusement park called tivolli world at the top of the hill. the nightlife is mainly around the port area . it is not far from torrolemenus, or feurengorola.

First time in Torremolinos and loved the place. Not too big so you get quite familiar with it in a couple of days. The beaches are gorgeous, loads of nice little restaurants and cafes along the lovely prom, with beautiful palm trees. The beach has lovely loungers with big comfy cushions on them for 4 euros all day, you can get a massage on the beach, they tell you 10 Euros but you can get them down to 5. Loads of nice shops and everyone is really friendly. Great place. we're going back in September!!

I expected more but we had a good time in fuengirola anyway. See the zoo. and for eating the best place to go is "fish alley" it's close to the harbour.

Resort is kept clean day and night.Try and visit the zoo its great watch out for the time share/holiday guys just tell them no and walk away.Only problem is the lucky lucky guys who disturb you while your eating/drinking tell them no and they leave you alone.Beach is wonderfull and clean.

Be warned. If you wish to go to a place where crime is prevalent and prostitutes are allowed to pester even men with wives/partners go to Fuengirola.

We had our beachbag stolen even though it was on hanging on the peg on the parasolde between our sunbeds. We had not left the beds but we dozed in the sun for 10 minutes as you do, and the bag was gone, even though there were other people surrounding us with our mobile phone and wallet etc. And the guy who had hired the beds was a few beds away from us. The next day John was pickpocket/mugged five yards away from the hotel reception, by a Spanish guy flinging his arms around him and talking about football, keys and money gone. On looking for the thief without me he had 3 prostitutes hanging on to him just by the Pyr Hotel, where they hang around. He had to shake them off him. The next day we had our hire car broken into. It is a long story! We went to the Police Station and one after another of english, americans and Norwegians followed us reporting thefts of passports, wallets and money. There is no police presence on the streets and the thieves etc seem to be able to get away with the crime; oh forgot to mention walking back from bars to the hotel we were asked if we wanted some coke several time. We are an ordinary mid 40s couple and not naive. We were staying in a so called respectable area on the seafront just by all the tourist bars and restaurants - my advice is do not go there!

Puerto Banus is a little depressing. It is full of ex-pats with dodgy looking sun tans who think they are better than everyone else.

Something for everyone regardless of age or nationality. Great restaurants, great beach, nightlife abundant if you want it. Clean resort with a lovely Marina area. Short transfer from Malaga airport

Plenty to do! beach is a bit unkept. Restaurants are nice, especially along the seafront. Not great for people with disabilities - a little hilly and some quite impressive pot holes! However, once your on the sea front most restaurants are on flat and the waiter/waitress are very helpful.

resort was a walkers paradise, all on the flat and you could walk for miles and miles. The Zoo is a must see, really worth the trip

Beach club hotel is out of town and you have to depend on transport to go into town. The resort is ok would go back but not to the beachclub.
