The trip to Mijas was the highlight of the holiday for me - lovely white washed village in the mountains. Cable car up the mountain was good. Gibraltar a long way to go but I liked the monkeys. Paloma Park quite pleasant - liked the rabbits. Sea Life good also. Like the elephant roundabout. Marina good but got a bit seedy the futher you walked along past it. Liked the tapas restaurant Ole, the Japanese restaurant Sakura and the Argentian restaurant - Angus.

Bit too built up - I prefer Santa Eulalia in Ibiza or Puerto Pollensa in Majorca.

Lots to do and see here, boat trips at the marina, cable car ride up the hill to the eagle sanctuary, tour bus trips, markets, shops, british pubs/cafes etc.

Several bars nearby with buzbys having adult entertainment every night from 9pm-exit the hotel, turn left 600m on left hand side near triton hotel. A couple of local bars to mention on the Torremolinos front. Whelan's an Irish bar, super people and value, great coffee, brandies on the large size proved by a few days walking back a bit slower and wobbling somewhat. The Cosy Nook a bit farther down also had good coffee and had a nice flat screen TV with UK channels, staff good as well. A thing with both of theses bars is the coffee which was Italian and very good. So to conclude a super hotel, food, staff and great value, we would return no problem.

This is a beautiful resort with loads to do. Very clean beach & very good facilities. Lots of lovely shops from cheap & tacky to designer. Sea life, dolphin watching & boat rides for kids. Seemed to be a good night-life but I didn't participate so cannot really comment. Would go back to Benalmadena & highly recommend it.

Hilly resort and bad paving so could be a problem for prams and wheelchairs. Loads of excursions on offer and good choice for day and night.

Resort is nice, everyone seems friendly. Bonanza square is good if you want quiet(ish) nights out and decent food (recommend the Caprichiosa pizzeria - good food if you can stand the wait). Along the sea front there are a lot of resturants ranging in price. The harbour and marina is stunning, but we never ate there as the prices almost doubled. I have partied there back in my youth and it's a vibrant atmosphere but we steered clear this time.

Quite a nice resort, disappointed with the beach. Sand very dark and lots of pebbles. Plenty shops, bars and restaurants. We liked the marina especially walking around looking at all the expensive yachts. The cost of food and drink has increased considerably, as has perfume, tobacco and alcohol. I used to buy quite a lot to bring home, but didn't bother this year as can get just as cheap at home. I suppose when your on holiday it's best not to worry about the price as its only 1/2 weeks out of a whole year, but if you have small children it could cost a fortune. Thats why we went on all inclusive.

the resort is not near anything else like shops etc, but there is a bus stop right outside which is very easy to use, nightlife did not bother us as we have small children, lots of things to see and do.

Benalmadena has plenty of cafes, good clean beaches, and easy walking along the seaside promenade, also the marina is worth a visit which is close by. Plenty of local buses pass by the front of the hotel. If I had to find a bad point it was the busy main road running at the front of the hotel and this being the coast road had traffic all night long. I guess the higher floors would probably be a little quieter. Overall we had a great time and I would certainly ( if visiting the Costa Del Sol ) use this hotel again. Nice area, we loved Fuengirola Zoo quite unbelieveable just on the high street, but inside the animals were kept in wonderful enclosures (not cages). Best trip was Gibralter, we did the Dolphin Discovery (fantastic saw loads of dolphins up very close) and the Rock Tour including see the Barbary Apes (hilarious), well worth the cost.

All in all we enjoyed our holiday very much, the area the hotel is in is good, beach good etc

i have been coming here on and off since i was 4 i love it here lots to do..the waterpark in torremolinos is really expensive take food and drink with you also you will need to hire the rings which is a extra 15 euros for 2 double rings unless you want to wait hours for a spare ring

Los Pintores is nice accommodation, if you are spanish. and the resort is a nice place to go to, I would recommend benalmadena but choose a different hotel.

Benalmadena has always been our favourite choice for this part of the Costa Del Sol. The Marina area is very good, with lots of good restaurents (Indian, Italian,Chinese,and Mexican to name a few). It is central between Torremolinos and Fuengirola, and the buses are really cheap to go to either of these towns. The beaches are very good, and have easy walks along the promernade.

clean resort, friendly people and lots to entertain beaches were very clean and you could hire deck chairs and umbrellas. plenty of restaurants and bars to dine out at nighttime.
