The Marina is one of hthe best around the area and the walks along the promenade were still as good as ever (even in the rain), the surounding hill side villages are a nice place to visit,

Benalmadena is a lovely resort they have a stunning harbour which takes your breathe away, loads of shops if your a shop-a-olic like me, went on some really nice walks, the only down fall is that Benalmadena is so hilly so my husband could not walk as much as us due to heart problems and ill health. We would reccomend the resort to family and friends. There is some really good karaoke bars if your into karaoke, and we loved Busby's which was just down the road from Hotel Bali where we stayed.Busby's also have a drag act called Terri Fox who was so funny and singer Rob Stevens who has got an amazing voice, he's also funny in between his songs, every one at Busby's made us feel welcome and at ease. We are going back to Benalmadena next year for a 50th wedding anniversary, can't wait....

When you see how clean this resort is you will be amazed.Everyday the streets are cleaned,the beach is cleaned,the bins are emptied.The locals are friendly,the marina is beautiful,and it is ideally situated for visiting other resorts.

Beaches great if you want to laze around. Lovely marina with shops, bars and expensive boats to look at. Also boat trips leave for neighbouring resorts if you want something different. Bus and train service are excellent, reliable and very cheap. Paloma Park has fish, animals and birds which children and adults love to feed. Easy walks along the front to Torremolinos. Always something to do, even the car boot sale is fun, definitely recommend Benalmadena to couples and families.

Benalmadena is a beautiful resort and we had excellent weather (even though it was mid october). It has a good range of shops bars and restaurants. The Marina is very interesting to walk round and look at all the boats and fish in water. The beach is lovely and clean and a nice promenade to walk along.

great clean resort, lovelly marina, nice long prom to stroll on, the cable car is a must do with spectacular views.

Benalmadena is OK, the marina is very nice, but it isn't as nice in my opinion as Torremelinos. We weren't so lucky with the weather, when its wet there isn't that much to do.

The resort was clean and the beaches was excellent. We went in October and it was suitable for us ,but I wouldnt want to go there in high season i.e July & August

Benalmadena is a lovely resort with plenty to see and do. Loads of lovely restaurants. Plenty of shops. Prices are reasonable with a coffee and a brandy costing about 2 Euros. We had an excellent curry in a restaurant opposite the Riviera Hotel, poppadoms, Starter and main course with a bottle of wine for just under 40 Euros.

Not too busy as it is the end of the season but the beach is lovely, and nice and hot still. I like that there are a lot of English bars, but also quite a few local shops.

Benalmadena is a fairly quiet resort with people strolling along the beach and relaxing in the many bars and cafes along the prom. The beach was nice and clean.

The resort is one long strip with the beach on one side and shops on the other, there is a large supermarket at one end of benalmadena which is very handy if you are going self catering, it can be cheap to eat out if you go to the right places and shoes and leater goods I found very cheap also. The train service is fantastic and also if you like walking, you can walk for miles along the coast stopping in on one of the may cafes and bars to have a drink and watch the world go by!! Lovely place.

Marina is fantastic. Beaches very clean. Nice restaurants.

Weather forecast was not good but it was just a lovely temperature.

a small town with a few attractions visited only once as our hotel was to far away the beach was ok and so where the shops it did have a lovely marina

The beach and the marina are great and the weather was superb for the whole week. Plenty of beachside restaurants to choose from for an evening meal or a lunchtime snack. Although the prices of food and drink were high due to the euro exchange rate there were plenty of bars offering 2 for 1 drinks in happy hours
