This was an excellent hotel with all the amentities needed for an enjoyable stay. It had an excellent bathroom with a hairdryer located within it. The kitchen was also very well equipped and we even managed to have a 3 course dinner party one night - with the use of the handy dining table. The balcony was exceptionally clean and spacious which had great views of the beach and the mountains. The location is excellent with only a few steps to the nearest supermarket which sold all the neccessary household items at a very reasonable price. Additionally, extremely close to local bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. In easy walking distance to the 24 hour square- the local clubs- but for those who cant be bothered with that - the taxi rank is mere minutes away and at very reasonable rates.

We we're struggling to find a cheap hotel, which was close to the beach. We went to last minute.com and found this hotel. The hotel was value for money and was exactly what we we're lookin for. Our holiday was a stag doo and as you can imagine there we're quite a few of us and sometimes quite nosiy but nott too much, but the other residents and management didn't mind. In fact there we're also hen doo's parties there aswel. We stayed a total of 6 nights there and enjoyed it. The hotel room comes with a kitchen so if you like to cook yourself then this is ideal. However they also provide a restaurant downstairs. The food is nice and the prices are reasonable. The rooms are quite spacious and confortable. The room we we're in had two single beds and in the living area it had a double pull out bed. It is supplied with a tele which has alot of channels.

Downstairs it boasts a swimming pool, it also has a little swimming pool for those toddlers. It has a spa and massaging booth and also a gym for those who like to workout. The staff are friendly and very helpful if you don't speak much spanish.

Had a fantastic 3 night girlie break at the Arco Sur Principe Spa Hotel. The apartment was as has been described - very comfortable. The pool is adequate but it was only a 2 min walk to the beach. There were a few families with babies and a small soft play area for kids but I would say it was more suited to families with older children as there is lots to do in the area.

A 30 minute stroll along the promenade with all of its fish restaurants takes you to the Marina which is very impressive. Had an amazing Asian meal there at 'Sakura' which was on the top floor amongst many other restaurants at the Marina.

I thought Benalmadena was lovely and hope to return again in the future. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when my kids are older.

This Hotel is the BEST. If you want the best hotel/self catering then this has to he the one. The reception staff go out of there way to help with any requests you may have, nothing is too much trouble for them. The self catering rooms are supurb with everything you will need for your stay. Kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine microwave/grill 4 ring hob, very large fridge freezer, plenty of crockery and cutlery. In the bathroom is a fantastic power hower, toilet and bidet. large bedroom with larger than usual single beds, a large mirrored wardrobe with a safe inside which is free and easy to use, also a t.v. and sliding doors to the balcony. The lounge has a very comfortable double bed setee, flat screen t.v. with bbc 1 and sky news and sliding doors to the balcony. Everything is spotless. On the ground floor is a spa where the staff once again are very friendly, there is a swimming pool, hydro pool. sauna and steam room, this is 15 euros for 90 mins, you can also have treatments, ie massage, manicure pedicure etc, manicure was 15 euros. There is no restuarant at this hotel only a small bar where you can buy food and drink. A short walk out of them hotel is plenty of places to eat and drink. This hotel is well worth a visit and have to give it 10/10 you will not be disapointed.

"Hotel that's really an apartment"

Large clean, very modern hotel with apartment like rooms. We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment off season and were very impressed. The rooms are spacious, quiet, well furnished with comfy beds, 2 tvs and modern furniture. For very little money we had a lounge, a kitchen, a bedrrom and a nice barhroom as well as a balcony. Hard to comment on the service as we really didn't need any. The location is pretty central, just a stone's throw from the seafront, although it is a bit of a trek back uphill to the train station.

I'd happliy go back!
