Estepona town is original, quaint and picturesque and has good shops and cafe's, the beach and promenade is excellent. It's a walk not for the faint hearted taking a good 30 mins of brisk walking. The marina is closer; taking some 15 mins, here you will find two supermarkets where you can get water etc for a fraction of the prices charged in the hotel. The marina also has a selection of the usual restaurants and cafe's which were good enough, there is also a tabac - should you need one. Out of the hotel to the left is a short walk to a garage that also sells the usual stuff. Expect to walk, get a bus or taxi if you want to do anything other than in the hotel. Gibraltar is well worth a visit and is also only about 30 mins away.

Overall

We used Thomas Cook for an Airtours Prestige holiday, the promise of 30Kg luggage turned out to be 20Kg and in fact the only 'prestige' was the taxi transfer, which was excellent; Estepona is approx a one hour transfer. The hotel was good though in need of ...
