I went in November so of course places were closed etc. It was ok for our cheapy 2 day get away boozing but no good for younger people wanting night clubs. I ate out at a chinese restaurant chino which was nice and soooo cheap €6! One friend found a nice british cafe which did a nice english breakfast but unfortunatly i missed that one and ended up with an undercooked egg at the karaoke bar nasty. So for eating I would recommend you have a walk round first and see whats available. One great thing about fuengirola is that it is so easy to get to by train. The train is every 30 mins to and from the airport, it costs €2 and is the final stop. The times are 17 mins past the hour and 47 mins to the hour from fuengirola to the airport. I dont know if it was because it was off season when we went but there seemed to be a lot of prostitutes, people begging and alot of building going on, so i would say its not my fav place but if its a cheap weekend away then getting there and staying there was so ok for that, but for a proper holiday I would advise against fuengirola.

Overall
The hotel was lovely. The rooms are spacous and clean. The pull out bed is very comfy. The rooms have a small area with a fridge, cooking hob, cups, etc. This area is only small so can not be classed as sc but great for drinks hot & cold. The pool is very b...

Fuengirola is a great resort. A flat prom you can walk for miles and buses, trains and ferries to take you to Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Marbella, Malaga and more all along the Costa del Sol. Plenty of English and Spanish bars and restaurants. The train is Eur1.85 from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola. Cab nearer Eur40.00. We used the train but there are a few steps to negotiate.

The Yaramar is good for those who like a British hotel with great weather. In mid September virtually all the guests were elderly. Some told us they returned to this hotel regularly. The pool area is a good size with enough sun beds to go round most days. ...
