Torremolinos Holiday Reviews

Been to Torremolinos several times over the years, it is a nice resort. We particularly like the Benalmadena end, near the marina. The promenade is lovely, makes for a great walk. Weather is generally good, though Malaga is a good trip out if it isn't. Went to Tangier in Morocco once too, that was a good trip but a long day and expensive.

very clean resort, and lots of different areas to explore, you can eat Spanish, Chinese, English, Italian , dutch in fact from anywhere in the world.

The part of the resort we visit is really nice, right on the promenade and near the marina. Makes for a pleasant stroll each day, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars along the way to relax in the mild weather.

nice place and plenty to do and easy to visit other places. Very easy to go to other resorts to see what they like, plenty of buses running all day and trains brilliant.

Nice resort, lovely promenade to walk along in the day in the sun. Plenty of good English restaurants and bars open for lunch too. Been a few times, will no doubt go back for more.

Torrimolinos is a very livley resort lots to see and do,plenty of shops bars and eating places,There is also a good train service, and very cheep,weather always very good,and in the summer there is always entertainment on in the main square.The only downside to torrimolinos are the very steep steps up to the main square,but there is a lift [you have to pay]BEWARE all you golden oldies take the bus.

This is a clean and pretty resort with a lot oto offer all ages. The beaches are so wonderfully clean and flat there is also in winter a good surf fr surfing buffs. The transport links are excellent and nearby resorts are easlu reached by tian or bus and reasonbly priced fares. The nightlife is good and for children there are water parks beaches and play areas as well as rides arcades and crazy gof ets. There is a ot of scopu to visit other areas such as Gibralter Morrocco as well as nearby resorts such as aFuengerola Belmadena and Marbella.

We didn't go to the main 'town', though we went through in a taxi and it looked a bit tacky. At the end where the Aloha Puerto is there is a lovely marina, with smart shops and bars. The promenade along the beach is a treat.

it was a lovely resort to stay in Location of hotel is also very good, with all the main beaches, resturants, shopping only a 5-10 min stroll away down the hill

Torremolinos or Benalmadena are not really our cup of tea, we prefer something more tradionally spanish but that is becoming harder and harder to find. People we spoke really liked both resorts and I suppose if we could have got out more we might have enjoyed it better. We had been to this area ten years ago and I must admit it felt like just yesterday as most things appeared to be the same. The Carihuela area has changed as lots of the fish restaurants have been turned into tatty shops, which was a shame.

We were staying up the far end well away from the town, but quite near the lovely marina which was better anyway. A lot of things are closed at night, but in the day/early evening there is plenty to do.

Torremolinos is nice if you want a relaxing holiday, wandering around and having a cheap drink and meal.

As have only ever been off peak, I think It is more suitable to 30 + age couples. Although given the warmth and sunshine almost all year round, anyone will suit here with this climate on the Costa Del Sol and there were families on the beach, late November with buckets and spades! There are numerous bars and restaurants with the most popular being In the Carihuela area on the coast, between torremolinos and belemadena harbour. Had two days of warm clear suinshine and two of hazy cloud, in the 70's and has been fairly constant for the last few years on our short breaks In November. Jan/Feb Is more unpredictable, but if the sun shines it generally is warm!

A good resort for all types of people Beach great and clean Whole area clean never seen so many cleaners on road and beach in the morning Public toilets on beach which is good for children

the main town bit is maybe a bit chavvy and run down but the promenade is lovely. really nice beach. malaga is a nice city.
