Overall Resort Rating:

Torremolinos is a very nice resort situated next to Benalmadena, which is about a 15 minutes walk along the beach. It has a large clean beach and plenty of bar and restaurants along the promenade. You can head in to the centre of town by going up a steep hill which passes numerous shops and restaurants or can take a cable car up the hill which will cost around a euro. The centre has a number of shops and restaurants and McDonalds if that takes your fancy! Very nice place to visit.

Torremolinos is a nice resort, lots to do in the evening, cracking weather and nice beach. Everyone speaks English, there are some decent shops. Price-wise it is OK, we would go back.

Overall Resort Rating:

A resort for more of a beach holiday, the spanish visit here in their droves and there is not lots to do but sit on the beach, go the water park or shop and walk around. It is easy to take the train to other resorts along the coast and it is cheap too on the train.

The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

First time in Torremolinos for us for about 15+ years. In that time some things seem exactly the same, though there is a big chunk disappeared to private apartments and there seem to be far fewer people around than we remember!

Resort was great, plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Nice walk to the town and to the marina. If you like fish there are some excellent seafood restaurants, plenty of shops and stalls selling jewellery. Couldnt fault it at all. I much prefer this to Benidorm or Tenerife

We didn’t really stay in Torremolinos as such, as our hotel was right at the far end of the resort a long way from town and nearer the lovely marina at Benalmadena. Aside from some walks on the promenade in the general direction of town, we spent most of our time away from the hotel at the marina – there are some great bars there, and some nice shops. Wish I owned one of the boats!!!!!

Not to keen on most of Torremolinos, but the far end where we stayed near Benalmadena Marina is lovely. There are lots of classy restaurants and shops round that part. Having said that, the promenade runs for a long way and makes a lovely evening walk, you cannot fault that part of the experience.

"Nice beach."

Overall Resort Rating:

Great beach and ampel beach bars, great prominade. Go to an apartment or room only hotel as the food is cheap and good. People friendly and it is clean. Downside is the nightlife we couldnt find one bar with music or entertainment, we were there in June, because they dont get a licence until high season in mid. July.

Torremolinos is a great resort, especially at the far end towards Benalmadena where we stayed. It is very smart, a lovely promenade runs all the way along the beach. The marina at Benalmadena is very smart with high class shops and restaurants, definately worth a visit. The main town isn't so nice though.

As always, Torremolinos and La carihuela stand the test of time.First visit was in 1972. Hotel is in an excellent location.
