clean,quietier than salou,6klms. away. safe for all town and beaches. would go back,only 20 mins.from airport.

We love this part of Salou which is the residential area and so obviously has a Spanish feel, rather than the touristy other end of Salou which is not what we want from a holiday at all. But if you want English bars and nightclubs, then this is probably not the right place for you.

Port Aventura was open until midnight when we went last year and it is 100% better to go of an evening so we did the same this year - but when we got there at 6pm it was closing at 7pm! We later found out it only opens until midnight for the main 6 weeks of July/August. So we ended up going back in the day - it is nearly as cheap and more convenient to get a taxi, we were only paying about 7-8 euros for a cab to the park.

It really is 1 of the best resorts i have ever stayed in, boasting a massive swimming pool & plenty of sun lougers available,, offering refreshments on request & indoor nightly entertainment normally bingo, karaokie, talent nights & quizzes. Salou gets very hot even during lower peaks april & may, but you can always have an afternoon nap at this point! i miss Salou already & cant wait to go back again,, make sure you visit the open air markets to bag yourself a bargain. try not to buy off people who come up to you in the streets trying to sell you watches at cheap prices.. trust me these dont work for long.. i recommend the gold items from local shops you are sure to find a bargain.. also the clothes are very cheap & of good quality

Lovely resort. Beach and Prom really nice. A must see is the water fountain show down near the prom on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night at 10pm. Amazing - like fireworks without the noise!

The resort of Salou is great, with plenty to do day or night. The beach is very clean, you can hire sunbeds and there are various vendors where you can buy drinks/food. There are plenty of shops, some good quality and some selling the usual Spanish goods. We tried a few restaurants along the beach front and the food was great, as well as the view of the sun setting. You can get a bus to nearby villages really easily and there are regular buses to Port Aventura too.

beautiful clean beaches could do with more activites on the beach ie banana boats peddle boats and stuff. you can however for a couple of euros get a massage this is definatley one for the men.

As the title suggests, when you go to Salou you get what you would expect, ie. good beaches, good night life and not much else. However, although you could say it was Blackpool with sun and cheap booze, I think the days of cheap booze are gone. The cheapest lager I saw was 2 euros and that not much cheaper than here. Food is good value.

Unfortunately weather wasnt very good for the first few days so put a damper on things, also being at the beginning of May was just the start of the season therefore some shops etc just opening. Apart from that, beaches clean and plenty of shops to browse.

A lovely resort to come to, with a short transfer from the airport which is always a bonus! plenty of bars and places to eat, and lots of places to go for nice walks-which we enjoy. we would definitly return to salou, pity about the weather!

a little bit quiet. but it is the start of the season. water park was not open! kids disappointed. If we go again we wil go later. overall it was a nice quiet resort for a relaxing holiday. pity about the weather

Nightlife is probably good in high season but when we went in may, there was not much on but its didnt really matter as we had our 5 year old son who was pretty shattered after day time activities.

Beach was a bit of a walk but situated in town so was great. Staff were great, service was excellent (can't say it enough). Tons to do around the resort...weekly market, open trains to take you on tours, little funfair..4 different routes, there is the local tourist town where the restaurants are ok...if you walk to the beach in the evening and keep walking a bit futher it goes dead (most people turn back here) but acutally if you carry on for 5-10 mins then suddently opens up into a very upmarket happening part of town with amazing dancing fountains, posh restaurants, desert bars, designer shops etc...we stumbled on it because my wife insisted she wanted to visit a hotel she stayed at years ago - only to find it's the wrong town. Highly recommended if you have kids around 3+...they will love it and so will you.

This was without doubt an enjoybale resort with a good atmosphere.the beach was about a 10/15 min walk and was really nice plenty of space and a nice clear sea with lots of little gift shops around there with mcdonalds and burger king a short distance from each other. the excursion we went to and enjoyed was to barcelona zoo well recommended then onto the city which was abit too busy for me but lots of shops overall was a great holiday.

town is great the beach is the best onec you on it you dont wont to come off it there is a really nice english food place in town you shud go there and if you like clubing you will really love it its class ;-)
