Very good, kids and adults both enjoyed it. Water park and Theme park a very short walk from the hotel. Excellent opening time on theme park till midnight, with fast pass access by showing room key after 21.00hrs. With the all inclusive deal from the hotel eating and drinking in the parks was very good.

Lovely resort, nice walk from Port Adventura into the centre. Lovely bars along the beachfront and nice beach. Very clean.

Port Aventura is a fantastic resort suitable for families of all ages. There are lots of things to see and do around the local area, within easy reach of the local beaches and shops.

Portaventura is a theme park so can't be rated on beaches and eating out etc. That being said apart from the hill walking it's a brilliant park. I would recommend walking through the Far West to Mexico to China and then to Polynesia. That way round you don't have to walk up there adaptation of the Great Wall of China. In High Season it's open till Midnight so no need to rush around it. We went there about 8pm most nights, it helped that when staying at El Paso you had free entry whenever and whatever time of day you wanted.

A great place to visit with rides for all ages.

We enjoyed everything about Portaventura and recommend it as a great place for families. We spent most nights in the theme park and the days around the pool at the hotel or water parks, we plan to go again in the future.

We only really went down to Salou town twice in the week, the first time it was red hot and busy but we did get seats and a shade on beach for 10 Euros. (Don't know if that is good or not but i haggled him down from 14 Euros). Unfortunetly I was dissapointed with cleanliness of the sea,...Some rubbish and other, er, items were in there with us!! I then got an ear infection and had to get some antibiotic ear drops from chemist to clear it up before our departure. ( otherwise i would have had to see a Doctor before leaving to say if I was ok to fly!)Thankfully it did clear up. The beach was lovely and sandy and clean and overall very nice.

beach front clean can get very busy loads of thing to do eg boat rides , bike hire, resturants and bars our kids enjoyed the climbing frames on the beach.didnt spend much time down the beach as there is plenty to do withinn the PortAventura park

Loved the park lots and lots to do to keep everyone entertained!! The rides were great and the shows are a must see too! Some days queues were long and some days there was hardly any wait! The only ride that always had a really long wait was the first ride the baco de furious which tended to break down alot! Food was good and being all inclusive in the park was great too! U could only get food and drinks from certain places but they were easy to find and all over the park! The food places u could eat at were great too! The park was always clean and tidy and the staff there were always very helpful! The characters were always dotted around the park at all times of the day which was always great for the little ones!! We had a fabulous holiday here!!!

never seen a lot of resort really but was very nice. as we were in an all inclusive hotel we never really went anywhere as kids loved the pool in hotel

Beaches and local town are good. Beaches are excellent for young kids. Excellent promenade, nice bars and ice cream parlours.

only went to salou once , not that impressed, but we didnt want to mleave our hotel anyway as everything we needed was there.

The themepark, water park and beech club where all fantastic lots of rides for all age groupes and you didnt need to travel to get there they where anly a muinet away. Plenty of carackters walking around the park , at breakfast and tea. The only thing that let it down for us was there was no evening entertainment, so when the minnie disco finished at 9.45 there was nothing to do.

Nightlife is probably good in high season but when we went in may, there was not much on but its didnt really matter as we had our 5 year old son who was pretty shattered after day time activities.

A regular train takes you from the hotel entrance to the theme park. The park is fabulous for all ages. We hired a double buggy and spent several full days there. Rides for everyone from small children to thrill seekers (for which you get queue jumping tickets from the hotel). Lots of shows and attractions. Great outdoor play area and funfair. Loads of places to eat, shops and plenty of clean toilets.

The PortAventura Park itself it great - loads to do for all ages and the q's were next to none during the week during October, however, avoid at weekends - very busy with Spanish who don't seem to know how to Q and walk right into you! Loads of places to eat and grab an ice-cream, but very expensive within the Park itself.

Salou was okay, very much for the tourist, if you know what I mean! The beaches are wonderful and clean and highly recommended.
