We found Costa Coleta appeared to be clean, well maintained, and more than adequate for both families, and couples alike.
The beach was 'U' shaped and was informed to be purpose built, soft sands, though at waters edge found to be a little rocky, but when in the water up to your waist felt sandier under foot. A nice marina, Scuba diving, and hire of pedalos, mini motor boats, and jet skis, jet skis in particulair I found to be great fun. (25euros for 10mins/45euros for 20mins) popular for all ages all week.
Plenty of restaurants for all tastes available, 'The great wall' was a particulair favourite for a good quality chinese meal. The steakhouse was a little pricey, but good sized meals. A lot of the cafe bars had a good offer on the 'full english' breakfast (2.80euros).
For those of you self catering there is a couple of well stocked supermarkets both within a few minutes walk, prices were pretty much what we expected considering the current poor exchange rate. The bus stop is just round the corner to the front of the Broncemar, to get to the North of the island to visit Corralejo, you have an hours ride on 2 buses (no3 & 6) via Puerto del Rosario, and is well worth the 3.70 euros each way. Those of you who like water parks its well worth the trip just for that!! for shoppers...there are a few small ones, but don't go expecting to find a huge shopping mall, you'll be disappointed.
To sum up, this was our first visit, I was pleasently suprised to find Fuerteventura catered for most needs, having visited most of the Canary Isles, I'd heard this island was the quitest, and less modern, but its evident more recently it has been brought up to date, but I feel it still holds that traditional quality for the tourist who prefers a more peacefull, idealic holiday.

Rude locals! Should you dare to stop for a couple of minutes outside any bar or restaurant, the owners will come out and tell you to move on and stop loitering! This happened to several people at the hotel when they were out and about.

Corralejo is a pleasant resort, plenty of bars and shops to keep you occupied. Beach is really nice and the coastline is superb, great for going on strolls in the mild sun. We would return.

Didn't see much of Jandia, apart from shopping, as everything we needed was on-site. Beach was great, shopping was easy as there was no hassle and very clean
The resort was adequate and for us as a family with a 5 and 3 year old it was fine - great beach really close by. Not much going on generally but for us that was not an issue. We hired bikes one day which was great as the promenade is flat and you can cycle a fair way without going on the roads. We went on a day trip to the zoo which was a long day but the kids enjoyed it (not sure about the conditions there but that is another story!). We went on the free bus from the hotel rather than on the first choice trip which made it much cheaper and was easy to do - just book at reception. There wasn't a lot to see and do but I didn't expect there to be so that was fine. Only a short transfer to the airport which was really handy.

The resort is quiet but has everything you need. It is quite Britsh and there are many British bars. There are some good restaurants and on average it cost £50 euros for 2 adults and 1 child. The beach was lovely and plenty of space. The chipmucks are a must see. Our child loves feeding them they were very cute!

On walking round the resort we were surprised at how many unfinished building projects there were. Ranging from large hotel complexes, to shopping centres. We were out of season so thought it was normal that no work was being done at the time, but we later found out that they had been left for some time. It really opened our eyes to how the recession has hit tourism here. The water park looked very nice, but was shut when we went out of season, only going in to go to the market, where you have to haggle. The beaches were ok, but would recommend taking the short bus journey to the sand dunes. Unfortunately it is one of those resorts that you will only go to once.

Corralejo review
"Great for couples who prefer to relax"
resort to a friend
Not a lot to do, but we prefer this as we hire a car and see the island. Enough to do on a night, but quiet. We were there February so not sure if this livens up more peak season.

Caleta De Fuste review
"HAS EVERYTHING COUPLES AND FAMILIES NEED"
resort to a friend
Caleta De Fuste or Costa Caleta as its sometimes known, has everything you need whether your travelling as a couple or a family with kids of any age. The restaurants cater for all tastes and budgets. The beaches are spotlessly clean and everywhere is tidy and well looked after.
When we visited in Jan/Feb 2010 there was hardly anyone about all the bars and restaurants were nearly empty and they were desperate for any custom they could get.We found that if we came out of our hoyel (The Arena) turned left to the top of the road then right and walked for ten minutes we found DJ's bar which was good for footy and drinks. The resort has a small harbour with plenty of bars and food stops all at good prices and the locals very pleasent you can sit with a cold drink looking out to sea and the beach. The main street is just like any other resort with bars,Restaurants and tourist tat shop's.
