"Really enjoyed it!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
As with some of the previous reviews I was worried about what we would find but there were no problems at all.. Staff were never anything but polite to us and worked their backsides off - not always appreciated but some of the rudest brits!
Food was very good - always lots of it and a lot of variety. The only complaints i heard were from fatties who only wanted to eat chips and nuggets. Always plain pasta /rice , big salad bar, 3 or 4 meat dishes along with chips/ veggies / usual nuggets etc. Breakfast was from 0800-1000, lunch 1230-1530 and dinner 1830 to 2130. Toasties available from 11.00-12.30 and 1500-1830 . So there was not many hours in the day when you couldnt get something to eat.. For people saying the food got boring - what do you expect when you are eating in the same place every day??? even a 5 star restaurant would get boring and repetative if you eat there every day for 2 weeks..
Kids entertainment looked great - all the kids seemed to enjoy themselves a lot and each evening loved getting up on stage for the kids disco.
The entertainment staff also worked so so hard. Even if it wasnt your cup of tea there was always something going on for you to join in if you wanted - but no pressure if you didnt.
Hotel was clean and spacious as were the rooms. We had a ground floor apartment and only had 1 cockroach the whole 2 weeks we were there. rooms were cleaned every few days and towel change the same but if you smiled and asked nicely the maids were happy to clean more often.
We had a great time here - good value and you get what you pay for.
Our group were all English and Im ashamed to say the worst thing about this hotel was small minority of English holidaymakers - how some of the Broncemar staff didnt smack them i dont know.
If you go here you will have a great time - enjoy!

"good fun all day long"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We were dreading this holiday after reading the reviews on this hotel i even considered not going, when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the hotel generally looked fine, and I am very difficult to please. The food was fine it does get repetitive no matter what all inclusive you go to, it was hot and regularly changed, the deserts however were dreadful like angel delight every night, but was never hungry always plenty of food. The pools were nice and were clean and my daughter spent hours in them, however the sun loungers were a nightmare if you did not get up early each day then you didnt get one. The best thing about this hotel was the entertainment team there were things going on throughout the day from 11 till 11 and you were not pressured to join in, various things like quizzes, pool volleyball, killer pool, bingo, rounders, the kids club for younger children was very good also, the evening entertainment was good also it started with a kids disco and games then bingo then an adults entertainment programme, the thomas cook entertainment team were great and good fun. Do not hire a safe we just punched in our own code and it worked and so did most of the holidaymakers when we were there. Do not hire a fan they are 30 euros plus 20 euros deposit and down the road at sky electrics you can buy the fan for 20 euros and then sell it on when your leaving.

"Broncemar Beach Aparthotel "
Overall Hotel Rating:
Welcome to The Broncemar Beach, The home of Bad Tattoos(not just on men), Kids with names like Morgan, Courtney and Daisy who are overloaded on Coke and Ice Cream, so are been told off again and fat women who insist on wearing some loose clothes as they are ashamed of been fat, but want some sun! After you have got over this intial shock its quite a nice place! If you ask the hotel for a top floor room, you dont have to go near the pool as you have your own sunloungers on your patio! This was really appreciated as you get total privacy! The room was quite nice and also had a good kitchen area for those who go Self Catering! Those who go All Inclusive you have no need to use this kitchen as the food is not that bad really! Yes it's not home cooked food, but there is plenty of Salad, plus lots of cooked options which gets stocked up quickly! There is always a chicken/beef or fish option with chips, burgers and hot dogs to keep Morgan, Courtney and Daisy loaded with those E Numbers! In your room is a safe with an option to rent this for a week for 15 euros! Only a retard would pay for this as if you read the instructions, but not the bit about going to reception for a code, it works fine. Just type in your 6 figure code and press * it is really that simple and saves cash too! Everything else in the Hotel was fine, and the staff work very hard so dont insult them by saying the food is Sh1t or sumat! You will enjoy your stay here if you dont expect fantastic food and let your kids have some fun!

Overall Hotel Rating:
Had everything we needed to keep a 6yr & 4yr old happy for a quick family week away at Easter. Good for kids and the All Inclusive is OK (menu a bit repetitive, but food warm - it's a buffet style, so people can't go expecting fillet steak!) If you want wow factor, then pay the extra and stay at one of the Elba hotels, otherwise, for those families with kids, it's not bad.

"Fantastic Hotel!!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
My partner and I have just returned from an amazing holiday at the Broncemar Beach. We booked a 10 day self catering break with Thomas Cook.
Location - only a 10 minute drive from the airport which is great. Only 10 euros in a taxi, much cheaper than the transfer with Thomas Cook.
The hotel is only a very short stroll to the bars, restaurants, shops and beach. It is fantastic if travelling with wheelchairs/pushchairs as the area is very flat and everything seemed very geared up with ramps etc.
The Hotel - Excellent - Our apartment was huge and spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The pools were lovely and clean and there were always plenty of sun loungers. The Thomas Cook entertainment team were excellent and worked so hard. The entertainment programme was varied and catered for all tastes but you did not feel pressurised to join in. We can't comment on the food as we were self catering, but speaking to other guests they all semed to be quite happy with both the selection and the quality of the meals. Caleta De Fuste - Caleta is beautiful. The beach although man-made is clean. It is woth walking to the beach by the Atlantico shopping centre as this is lovely and quiet and the sand is lovely. We loved walking down to the other end of the beach and hand feeding the chipmunks that live in the rocks. There is a good variety of restuarants and bars catering for all tastes. Fado Rock is well worth a visit but by far the best best restaurant was Wild West. This is run by Jorge who treated us like royalty, nothing was too much trouble and the food was out of this world.
Will definitely be returning again - next time for 2 wekks!!!

"Well impressed, will go for 2 wks next!"
Overall Hotel Rating:
I have stayed in Aparthotel accommadation on many occassions over the years, both as an all inclusive, and self catering guest in the Canaries, and Balerics and find them generally to be more than adequate. The Broncemar in my opinion ticked most of the rellevent boxes. On this ocassion I was part of a couple, so was pleased not to see the place over run with kids. However, there were a handfull but seemed to be well behaived. We had one of the ground floor self catering appartments, although there was no air conditioning or heating in the rooms but didn't feel the need for either. If guests did feel the need for extra warmth I was informed there was plenty of spare bedding available!! not so sure how you'd keep cool though in the peak season (we enjoyed 25c)
The rooms were adequately furnished, there was a TV,(1euro per hr) telephone, (which I found to be faulty, but one call to reception and it was changed within a couple of hrs)microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, usuall 2 ring cooker/oven, though personally I wouldn't particulairly want to cook a meal on it. Towells and bedding were changed three times during the week. The only 2 negative things worth mentioning was on 3 ocassions during the week we noticed very small ant like insects in the kitchen area, barely visible to the naked eye, (but that was probably due to me being a little forgetful in wiping down the work top after breakfast! :( ) and the patio sliding door was a lttle tight to open and close.
I found all the staff to be helpful, and hard working, in particulair the reception. The use of 3 computers in the reception area was particulairly useful, 1euro for 10mins. I noticed them to be in use more than you would expect throughout the week, with all ages!
There were 2 reasonably sized pools, well maintained and clean, though a little slippy round the edges, but was adequately signed with warnings, you were also advised by the Thomas Cook reps as well. But to be fair there were also limited wooden boards to walk on.
To sum up, we found it to be more than adequate for most requirements of families, and couples alike, baring in mind this is a 3 star rated Aparthotel, I would have no hestation about a return visit.

"WOULDN'T GO BACK"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have just returned from a February half term break at the Broncemar All inclusive. The best things I can say about the hotel are that it has a short transfer time from the airport, it is centrally located and the waiters work hard. The negatives are the rooms are basic and have no heating or airconditioning, even with extra blankets we were cold at night. The rooms are not cleaned every day and it shows, I don't think anyone had cleaned our room properley since the hotel was built. We had cockroaches in the bathroom which came out if you went to the loo in the night. The food is dreadful, not only is it repetitive but it is only lukewarm even if it had only been just brought out. The puddings were all liquid based ie jelly or mousse or rice pudding. That is of course if you could find a plate! They regularly ran out of plates and glasses were not much better. The same waiters also worked long shifts in the bar so if you asked them for anything they were quite frazzled. The best place to eat was at the pool bar where there was not much choice but at least the food was hot. The afternoon cakes were whatever had been left from breakfast so often it was croissants. The daytime entertainment was poor. The entertainment team often did not do the advertised activities either because they had lost equipment or it was too cold/raining eg aqua fit in the pool. They did not organise anything else as they prefrerred to sit around and talk about their last night out (which often led to them being late starting as they were hungover). The evening entertainment was better but they repeated some of the shows weekly so we got to see them twice which is poor. The pools were nice but the area around the pool was very slippy and we saw lots of people fall over. They had done a decked walkway the try to stop this but it had started to raise in places and was also a trip hazzard. I would not go back to this hotel and I would think twice about a Thomas Cook Entertainment team led hotel again.

"Very nice Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Stayed here for a week on 25th July 2009. The hotel, gardens & pool are very clean & well looked after. The apartment was clean, and that is all I ask for from a 3 star apartment. You will have to rent a fan for 14 Euros if you are too hot, our room was roasting. The only negative thing i would comment on about the apartment was the positioning of bathroom, ours was in the middle of the apartment with no window and could get very stuffy & far too warm at times. Im not sure if all the apartments have the same layout though. We stayed bed & breakfast and for the extra money it probably was worth it with the poor rate on the euro at the minute. The quality of the food is generally ok and eatable but doesnt set the world on fire, dont let this put you off though because this is a really nice place and you wont be dissppointed providing your not your not expecting 5* star faciltites like some people from 3* hotel.

"Broncemar hotel "
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Broncemar and had a great time ! We went self catering with Thomas Cook and looked at upgrading to half board which we found to be at least £200 cheaper when we got there rather than booking through the agent. The rooms were clean ours 143 had a lovely patio area and was not far from the pool . The daytime and evening entertainment was very good and the reps ( Aaron, Stevi - jo, Dave b and Laura really worked their socks off to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Our only criticism was around the pool was very slippy resulting in a couple of accidents and this needs to be addressed by Thomas Cook We will def return

"Clean, safe and comfortable."
Overall Hotel Rating:
Arrived at the Broncemar Beach on Saturday evening 4th April for two weeks.Three of us - myself, teenage daughter and her best mate. We were allocated Room 159 which was at the end of the "bridge" walkway, and was a spacious apartment with a lovely private rooftop terrace for sunbathing (and popping back in for a drink/snack whenever you feel like it). Maid service was every day except Tuesday & Friday with towels changed 3 times per week and sheets changed twice during our 2-week stay. No tea-towel provided so bring your own! The little kitchen has a fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and filter coffee maker. There is a shop in the complex for your initial basics on the first day but after that I would recommend shopping around for most foods. There are lots of Nettos around the town, and while we were there they had an offer where you got a 3€ voucher whenever you spent over 20€, and there was always lots of special offers there too. Food is expensive in the supermarkets, but this is simply because everything is imported, not because they are trying to rip you off! Buy the Spanish brands and you'll save a bit of money. If you plan on doing "proper" self-catering (cooking all your own meals) then you should take a trip down to the big Spar at the Atlantico shopping centre, a lot of things are a bit cheaper than the Nettos but you need to do a "big shop" there to make it worth the taxi-fare back! We ate out every evening and just used our little kitchen for breakfast (ham & cheese toasties) and storing lots of cheap supermarket drinks in the fridge. The entertainment at the Broncemar was good family stuff, the usual mini-disco, quizzes, reps' shows etc. We didn't really see much of it because we went out every night but the daytime stuff was good and most families with younger children who stayed on site seemed to be having a fantastic time. The reps were lovely, very chatty and helpful, and seemed very popular with the young kids. The pool was very cold. One of the pools is apparently heated but there was quite a chilly wind while we were there so I didn't bother "getting wet"! My daughter and her friend spent every day down at the beach. There is a poolside barbeque 2-3 days a week priced at 6€ - 8€ with a free glass of sangria. This was lovely and a very nice change from our toasties/crisps! On site there is also a nice grill restaurant "Casa Rito" and a good Irish tavern which does karaoke until 3am, in addition to the half-board buffet restaurant and the reps' entertainment bar. Reception is open 24 hours and there is security at night. It was good to know there was no way onto the complex other than through reception, it felt safe and secure. Thomas Cook have their own desk there and they have a book exchange box, so I left a few of mine behind! On our last day, our coach departure wasn't until 5:45pm and you have to check out of your room at 11am, so I asked about keeping our room, this was 20€ (which is cheaper than booking it in advance with Thomas Cook, but it was very quiet and you may need to book this in advance buring the busy summer months). Unfortunately the receptionist looked on the computer and discovered our spacious apartment had been allocated to new arrivals that afternoon, so she then offered us a "courtesy room" (Room 206) for the whole afternoon (instead of half an hour) free of charge! Great friendly service! The worst part of the holiday was arriving at the airport for our flight home. Thomas Cook have around seven or eight flights leaving the island all within about an hour every Saturday evening, and they have FOUR check-in desks open for ALL of these flights!!! The queue starts at the doors where the coach drops you off!!!

"Broncemar beach aparthotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Initially, I wasn't impressed with this hotel. Our party of 6 checked in together, were given adjacent rooms but had to be moved twice as the rooms had no water.
Once we had moved to our eventual rooms (all self-contained), I was quite pleased. The upper rooms have huge balconies, lovely for sunbathing as the pool area was quite busy. Ground floor rooms have a terrace which is smaller and much less private. We were advised that families with young children would only be allocated ground floor rooms for safety reasons and to get to the upper rooms you have to walk up a flight of (quite steep) outdoor stairs. If you are able to do this and have no children with you, I would strongly recommend it.
Pool area clean but very busy, restaurants/bars OK, lots of children's entertainment on. A short walk from the beach, shops, etc.

"Not as good as it sounds."
Overall Hotel Rating:
We stayed in December 08, and even with the additional blankets supplied , we were cold at night. No heating is supplied ( which obviousley you dont need in the warmer months), so we had to use the two ring hob as our only form of heating, along with leaving the lights on. The tv , which is a cost of €1 for one hour, has two english channels, which is mostly advertising. Staying over the Christmas period we were expected to pay €20 Euros per adult ,and €13 Euros per child for a Christmas show put on by the resident reps, which I thought was a rip of. But that was on par for the resort, which is why after 2 days we got a return flight home, and saved ourselves loads of money by doing so.

"no problem at all"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have holidayed at the Broncemar Beach on 6 occaisions and never had any problems - we always request an apartment near to the childrens play area, it is quiet at night!! Never had problems with cockroaches. This time we had to move apartments as complex were working on upgrading maids storage area, given an apartment further along - moved to upstairs apartment, much better, balcony was a real suntrap, also free bottle of wine from management for moving. Would recommend these apartments, and will certainly be staying there again next year.

after returning on the 12th nov 08 we enjoyed a weeks holiday in the broncemar beach aprthotel all staff speak good english it really puts us brits to shame we really need to learn spanish! apartments where clean maybe in bits some need a freshen up paint wise but thats to expected as they seem to be full all the time. maids never stop as the bar and resturant are always on the go the buffet resturant good value for money 10 euros for a 3 course meal and eat as much as you like caters for everyone. The only have one bad thing to say about it the bar is open to 3am so if your expecting early nights you are in for a shock! Other than that we will certainly be making a return vist. oh one last thing people with mobility problems may find the stairs a problem although there is a small lift to use if you find the stairs a problem.
