"Enjoyable n relaxing"
Overall Hotel Rating:
just returned from atlantis. Just my husband and myself to celebrate our anniversary. We found the hotel catered for everyone, with or without children. There are 6 pools. We mainly spent time at the relax pool, which was very quiet and relaxing, funnily enough. We were amazed when we walked 30 yds to the main pool and pool bar to hear the music played around the pool, we couldnt hear it where we were, unbelievable. There was always a good choice of sunbeds, you dont need to get up at silly o'clock to reserve a bed!!! We dont anyway but plenty usually do. Lots of things going off, volleyball, waterpolo, etc, if you want to join in but no hassle if you dont. The main place at night, the plaza, is situated downstairs and is like a main square with different places leading off from it, eg restaurant, spanish restaurant, stage for shows, disco, etc. The large pool bar is also a snack bar during the day and doubles as an italian themed restuarant some nights. Plenty of choice in the restaurant. I am very fussy but manage to eat every day/night. If you like fish you will love it! One thing we found strange, u help yourself to drinks! Weird but it works, no waiting to catch the waiters eye and no-one seemed to go mad. The beach was 5 mins away and the town centre 20 - 25 mins. We walked down into the centre a couple of times on the beach during the day and via the roads on a night. Even quiet walking about, didnt really see anyone. Not really any bars or shops close by but didnt deter us. One suprise, we never saw a MacDonalds, KFC, etc in town!!! We also turned right on the beach and walked down towards the sand dune area. Even quieter. All in all a good holiday and would probably go back. If you are interested, u can catch a ferry to Lanzarote and spend a day there. Only 12 mins on the ferry apparently, we didnt go with only being there for 1 wk but worth knowing.

"Lovely Hotel"
Overall Hotel Rating:
If you are a couple with no kids then don't pick this hotel! The place is over run with an abundance of pre-schoolers! The restaurant at mealtimes was certainly an experience to remember. There were kids everywhere, crying, screaming and wandering around aimlessly with plates of food sliding off onto the floor! There are 7 swimming pools, 6 for families and only 1 Relax pool for adults only - although Spannish families thought that the 'adult rule only' didn't apply to them and they argued constantly with guests and hotel staff throught the week. Don't get me wrong we don't dislike children but had we had known before we booked here that there was so many small children we would have chosen somewhere else. All in all a very nice clean hotel, the staff were helpful and the rooms are spacious and cleaned well. There is a good selection of food at all times. The daytime and evening entertainment was aimed at the kids and was of poor quality - children were in the adults disco at 11.30pm which was a big disappointment. It's about at good 30 min walk into Corralejo and a very long walk to the best beach! We would not visit this hotel again!

"Atlantis Hotel Suites we liked"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was a fantastic hotel. We stayed all-inclusive. Food was great, staff was friendly, room was clean, resort was immaculate, plenty of activities and different pools/gardens to sit around depending on whether you wanted music, quiet or child-friendly. Hotel beach not great for children but free bus from outside hotel to a beautiful beach only 5 minutes away. Not in the best location for shops/bars unless you wanted a long walk/taxi journey but resort was so good that would definitely go back.

"Relaxing All Inclusive Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The complex is huge and but you are provided with a map so you can easily find your way around.
The food was delicious and there is always something to choose from in the buffet restaurant - probably the biggest choice of any hotel I have been to. We very much enjoyed the Italian restaurant which was well worth a visit, unfortunately, we were unable to get booked in to the Spanish restaurant. There was a good range of wine and drinks included, including a good range of cocktails.
Unfortunately, we had to work while we were away, but the free wi-fi in the bar in reception block made it easy and a lot more bearable. There are also pay to use computers in reception.
The entertainment was geared towards children and the resort as a whole has a family atmosphere, popular with young families. As a young couple without children, we usually go to hotels without kids clubs etc, we did occasionally find some areas of the hotel and sometimes the buffet restaurant were a little like a children's play area with kids running around - this was a minor thing, and I am certainly not complaining but it would perhaps put me off visiting at the height of the school holidays.
All of the hotel staff were very friendly and we would certainly return to the hotel.

"EXCELLENT STAY XMAS & NEW YEAR 2008/2009"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We arrived 23rd december 2008 for our annual xmas and new year break! chise this hotel via firstchoice for the kids entertainment as we have a 6 yr old son and for its excellent location. On arrival we were greeted with champs whilst checking in, we were alocated room 4112 which is great if you have kids as it is ground floor and overlooks the heated pool, is also bang oposite reception and next to one of the restraunts , great for breakfast on your patio and morning coffee. The downside of this room is that straigh oposit accross the pool is a large building site with 6 cranes! we thought oh my god noise will begin in a few days after the xmas break BUT the site is at and has been for 12 months at a stanstill! if you blank this view youll be fine. The heated pool has a life guard from 8am until 6pm and he his very very good, will not allow teanagers to mess and will wathc the young ones like a hawk! There are 4 other pools around the complex of vary depths , one has a pool bar which was not open because the pool was too cold this time of year. Rooms very very clean a lick of paint perhaps needed in certain areas but its ok rooms cleaned daily along with bedding! Fridge supplied in room with TV , shower good and hot. Rental avail 12 euros per week for a iron and board! dont get laundry done very expensive but perhaps because of the euro rate at the moment. Food in the buffey is pretty dtandard for all inc, iv had better but no complaints, plenty of variety, fresh fish, steaks etc. All inc drinks as expected locally produced and are ok standard, main brands avail if you want to pay. Kids play area and kids club is most excellnt prob one of the best we have had on the last 6 years of going away with our son, the staff are great and really look after them, plenty to do indoors and out, daily activities around the pool and voley ball pitch. Evening entertainment, dont expect west end shows, mainly performed by the kids staff and is varied, we had also 4 other outside shows which were avaerage. There is a Italian and spanish restraunt on site also Hss own beach but is not ideal...many stones and pebles! short walk along the baech to better, town is 5 mins in taxi where youll find bars with live music , foster carling and john smiths!!!! excellent harobour located restraunts selling fresh fish etc
Ferry accross to Lnazarote is 2 euros each way with fred olson sails every hr and is 20 mins

"Fantastic Holiday"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have just returned after spending a week 26 April 08 to 3rd May 08 at these wonderful suites and apartments. We are a family of four children are 13 and 9 and we had a fantastic time. There is something there to suit all. We like quiet and relaxation. We got just that. Our room 6235 overlooked what we thought of as the best pool. It was a heated pool, I hate jumping into freezing water! It was quiet and there were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. We went self-catering so can't comment on the food. We couldn't experiment with our food too much as you only get two electric hobs, no microwave or oven but we managed to eat in 4 nights and walked up town for 3 nights. We tried the Slow Boat although I'm not sure which one as there is 5 I think but the one we tried was very nice. We also went the the mexican La Cantina which I thought was very good both times. Myself and the children moaned about the walk to town although it was only approx 20 minutes would rather it have been a little closer. We didn't really see any of the animation team although we did play the free bingo three of the nights. It did get a little chilly on the evenings and it is worth taking a cardi. People said it was windy but we only really felt the wind on the beach. Can't comment on what there was to do as we went for a week of doing nothing and that is precisely what we did (other than keep walking into the town!!) Would go back again and would recommend. We booked everything separately ourselves. Thomas Cook Flights, Transferstore.com transfers (brilliant) and the hotel through holidayhotels.com.
"Atlantis Hotel Suites And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
Just spent a fantastic 11 days at this hotel we have been to many all inclusive hotels and this was one of the best. Taking a 16 year old with us was a bit of a worry thought he might be ";bored"; but thanks to the entertainment team he had a great time and met loads of similar aged people. There are over 5 different pools we were very lucky our room was closest to the relax pool which is lovely if you dont have small children with you. The suite we stayed in was lovely seperate lounge with a large sofa bed and a lovely bathroom very clean. Food was very good choice of restaurant was great.
The weather was fantastic due to the constant
sea breeze it was very easy to soak up the sun without feeling uncomfortable.
There is not a lot to see in Fuertaventura but if you are looking for an excellent hotel and just want to chill this is a great hotel would certainly return.

Overall Hotel Rating:
just spent a week there and cannot really fault the complex at all. the rooms were very clean and spacious, i think we were lucky with the location of ours as some where very close to the pools and can imagen they get quite noisy during the day.
i love my food so when i discovered the resturants i thought i was in heaven, they had lots of choice, the bacon was a bit doggy at breakfast! But other than that cant fault the food, we went to the spanish resturant twice and the italian only once, the italian was good, but spanish was even better, we paid for a tapas lunch in town one day i can easily say that the complex spanish resturant was nicer, there was so much choice, but be prepared to be stuffed!
we hired a jeep for the day which was great fun and drove to the bottom of the island to a place called ajuy, which was advertised in one of the brochure things to have a amazing ship wreck , it took us about 2 hours to get there and when we did we were told it had gone!
there were a few good places in town to go at night, the rock cafe and for a late night go to the Waikki beach club.
Enjoy your holiday !

"Atlantis Hotel Suites And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
This was one of the best holidays I have ever had the accommodation was superb the hotel staff where fantastic. The All Inclusive was very good, especially the Italian restaurant (you had to book this the day before). We only went for 7 days , but would imagine after about 10 days you would get fed up with it, but on the whole it was excellent. Not much on in the evenings and entertainment didn't start until 10pm which was a bit late for my 3 year old, but my 10 year old enjoyed it.
I would love to go back in October if I got as cheap a deal as some of the people that we met there, would book everything separetly next time.

"Atlantis Hotel Suites And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
The Suite Hotel Atlantis is an excellent place to go and chill. We decided to go for a week of rest and relaxation and chose the ideal place. The complex is well laid out and well maintained. The rooms are clean as are all the public areas of the hotel - the only creepy crawlies we saw were a few ants. The Hotel has a real European flavour as there are visitors from all over and the entertainments team work hard communicating with them all. The bars were very good and the main buffet restaurant excellent.
All in all an excellent choice that I would recommend to others (especially families) and return to.

"Atlantis Hotel Suites And Apartments review"
Overall Hotel Rating:
We have recently returned from a stay at the suite hotel Atlantis. We were informed there was building work taking place but had no time to change holiday. The building work did not affect us one bit, the only sign that it was taking place was that there were a couple of cranes, I did not hear or was disturbed by the construction going on. The pool nearest the construction work played music, but there are another four pools to choice from.
The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly, courteous and multi-lingual. Our room was lovely and spacious and had air cond. We stay on an all inclusive basis the choice of food for all meals was excellent, they cook fresh meat and fish for lunch and dinner but you have to tell them to stop putting salt on the meat/fish as they seem to over do it. The hotel offer a bus service to the beach/sand dunes there are numerous transfers throughout the day.
The resort centre was a taxi ride away or about a 15 minute walk which we did on many occasions. The resort centre was just like any other, with the same shops selling the souvenirs, the bars and restaurants. We heading there a few evenings and it was pleasant. If you head towards the harbour there are some nice places to get a drink and relax and look out over the harbour. We visit Los Lobos - if you have a free day this is worth a visit it is an uninhabited island but there is a small bay in a cove and good for snorkelling. It is really peaceful.
Finally I would recommend this hotel to stay in and I would stay there again myself.
