Some of the most beautiful beaches we've visited but full of German nudists. We were in the minority as we had clothes on but the nudists got on with there holiday and we got on with ours! We stayed at an all inclusive hotel so we can't comment on the cost of food and drink in Costa Calma but we would definately go back for the beaches.

Really it is a case that if you want a total chill out, read a book by the pool or beach and have decent food and unlimited free drink with nice staff and no pressure then this is pretty near perfect. If you don't like foreign food and foreigners then don't go - stick to Benidorm. Costa Calma is no place for self catering and certainly no good for people who want to party - most teenagers would also get bored quickly. There seemed to be a lot of honeymooners, who seemed happy and middle to old age couples and groups - the entertainment staff work really hard during the day and there are plenty of activities for young children.

The Costa Calma resort itself is small and extremely quiet - don't expect any nightlife or shopping - it is a chill out place and that is what we wanted. The hotel is very efficiently run (I know because I ran a 360 bed operation in England for 17 years an...

This is the 3rd time at this hotel and we have had a great time yet again. The animation team work very hard and speak German English and Spanish. They try to get all the kids to join in all the activities. Our son was 12 when we went and he joined in al...

Just returned from 2 glorious weeks at this fabulous hotel. It certainly lives up to it's 4 star rating. Apparently this is the first year they have had a kiddies club so there were very few children. Those that were there were all under the age of 5 and di...
