It’s a short walk down about 300 steps to the main area of Puerto Rico, where you will find shops, restaurants etc. Also, you can go down to the harbour- where I would recommend that you rent a moped, as this was great fun.The atmosphere at night is great too, we felt so safe just walking around at 11pm at night down to the beach etc or just a stroll around

The location is in a very quiet area with a superb promenade enabling walks into Maspalomas in one direction and Playa Meloneras in the other.

this was a great resort plenty to do and to see and its central if you want to take bus out of town

food and drink is cheap so is cigarettes - lively place and the people are really friendly

Lovely beaches either side of the hotel to make up for it. There is a strip further along the beach for walking at night and this offered really good entertainment at night. Loads of little shops and restaurants nearby. The bus station is only a block away and my sister and I went on trips to Puerto Rico and Las Palmas. This hotel is virtually the last Hotel in Play des Ingles but is only a 10 minute walk from the shops. All in all I couldnt fault this hotel.

The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the beach but on the way is shopping centres and nice scenery. Taxi's are always avaliuable from outside the hotel so there is easy access to the water park, or any other places on the island. Within the hotel there is a trip organiser and i would strongly recommend going on the Garbo's trip...it is a night out to a theatre, where you eat your dinner and the waitors and waitresses are the actors and singers...it is a good night out for everyone (family or couples)

We enjoyed walking around Puerto Mogan - it is not large by any means but rather quaint and very pretty with canals and bridges running through and around the old harbour. We spent a lot of time wandering around the old harbour and fed a variety of colourful "tropical" fish with breadcrumbs and enjoyed an interesting hour or two doing so during the holiday. There are some interesting shops and there were plenty of colourful flowers around the front gardens of the properties fronting the walkway around the harbour. The restaurants were generally good and the service was excellent although we only visited for lunch because we stayed half board at the hotel. Prices were high with the Euro virtually matching the Pound - £6 for a small bottle of water and a small bottle of sprite (a wineglass full) was a bit steep. The beach was small but sandy and adequate with showers and toilets etc.,

Resort of playa del ingles has lots for everyone - from the beautiful beaches to the many shoppping centres. Evenings are busy but not too lively!

Really like Maspalomas, especially around Easter. The weather is superb, lovely sunny days and really warm, not too hot. The dunes are good, but also there is typical tourist stuff like English bars to go and sit and relax in.

As I said above there are no facilities as they are still building but it will be fantastic when finished. A short ride back to Anfi del Mar is only about 5 euros and there you can find all the facilities you need.

Beach was quite a walk but we got the free bus, was ok for a day but got very busy & you have to pay for sunbeds etc. Loads of entertainment & games all day for adults & kids. Went to the waterpark, not as good as it looks & a complete rip off! Id recommed a boat trip from Puerto Rico though - very nice.

The road outside hotel leading to Europa (10 mins stroll) was quite steep - and a killer to walk back up (although my Mum -who has Angina - and Dad done many walks daily) in the evenings though we always had taxi back (2.50 Euros regardless of time). But this hotel has one of the best locations - other hotels are much worse and hey - you are in Puerto Rico! If you dont want hills - dont go. The brochure says beach is just accross the road - a few hundred meters - this is true - if you can fly! Took us about 20 minute stroll, and well worth the visit.

The hotel is some way from maspalomas, however there are always taxis just outside and don't cost much. The beach here is great. The beach and dunes are about 25mins walk away, as is Costa Meloneras with its very large luxury hotels. A pleasant walk or a taxi ride if preferred.

As above - liked the resort and would stay here again. The resort is a lot better than Puerto Rico, as although a little comercialised it not on too much of a bad scale.

Playa del inlges is a great place to visit. There are plenty of bars, clubs and dining places to suit most peoples needs. The resort may be slightly higher prices than others but still is good value for money. The beaches are are breath taking in Maspalomas and really worth a visit. We enjoyed some great walks and with nearly all year round sunshine you can not go wrong.

We have been coming to Puerto Rico now for around 15 years. However, the economic climate seems to be having an effect on the resort with several bars and restaurants no longer open notably Churchills and Linekers. I would recommend the Pagoda just by the side of the Shopping Centre where you have an excellent Chinese meal at a good price. The Classic Bar just behind Harleys is an excellent place for a drink.
