Very clean and pleasant resort. Good seletion of shops and restaurants. Excellent market around the port on Fridays. Good water taxi service along coast to Puerto Rico etc.

first time,not be back its a dump,very hilly need a taxi all the time very expensive pestered every 5 yards with touts for boat trips eating pubs shops a nightmare they should be kicked out of resorts now as they are spoiling it for everybody thers is good resorts mogan is lovely place gran canaria forget it

The Europa centre is an eyesore and a horrible place to visit but it can be avoided. Just walk down to the harbour and the beach and there are lots of very good places to eat and drink without being bothered. The cliff walk to the next bay is also gorgeous and well worth doing. Really enjoyed our stay and cannot fault the weather or the area.

Nice quiet resort not a lot to do there but there is mini golf and nice beach After dinner you can walk all around the resort before going back to the hotel

very nice places to eat and drink espeacially those by the harbour. you can have a quiet time or more lively if you prefer there is something for everyone. there are 2 waterparks nearby

This is our 3rd holiday in Playa Del Ingles and we didn't bother with the welcome thing from the holiday rep. They try to flog you over priced excursions and even let the cursed Anfi rep have a slice of the action, what a drag! The taxi and buses are first rate on this island so it is no bother to plan your own days out.

The resort was great! Had everything you needed in one area! I would defo recommend piccadillys and donalds!!

Liked this resort, lots to see and do. We hired a car while we were there and there is plenty nearnby

Very Quiet, but friendly. Lovely surrounding areas, but need transport, The road is too dangerous to walk on.

The resort itself is small and fairly upmarket, some fantastic shoe and handbag shops! There are also numerous fantastic restaurants, we did not have a bad meal there and found it to be very reasonable pricewise.The shops in the local area are more Gucci than bucket & spade. There are many designer shops as the area is more upmarket than a usual tourist haunt. The streets are very clean and the area feels very safe, even at night.

For golden sands, walk to Maspalomas, head for the lighthouse.

Avoid the Thomson Blanket Trip at all costs - a total waste of a day’s holiday! Sioux City is excellent. Be wary of the public buses - crazy drivers going too fast round narrow mountain roads with sheer drops into the ocean (think Italian Job)! Taxis are the way to travel - extremely cheap.

Seriously considering returning next year - we loved it!

The resort is nice, but for things to do i went away from the resort. For families with kids the resort is in my opinion very nice.

excellent resort for families couples,and singles. lond sand beach Spectacular sand dunes best suited for those looking for somewhere in Gran Canaria to simply chill out and relax. There's a excellent range of restaurants in both maspalomas and playa del ingles

The resort was lovely, the shops were very expensive but lovely to browse in. The resort felt very upper class, not a single time share tout for two weeks!! The beach was very clean and the sand dunes were great fun to climb up and roll down!! The sunsets from the promenade were something to behold, take your camera!

The hotel is 5 mins walk to the beach and to the beautiful pine walk where there are loads of lovely bars and restaurants when you want to leave the hotel. The bus station is 15 mins walk with regular services to Pollensa town, Alcudia, Palma and Inca.

The Europa Shopping Centre is full of shops selling tat for high prices so stay clear and the people trying to get you into the restaurants can be pushy.The beaches are lovely in Gran Canaria we took buses to them, we went to the water park, the kids loved it! On Friday there is a great market in Porto Mogan, we took a boat to it - we booked it through our Thompson's rep, it was a lovely way to travel to Porto Mogan the crew gave us a nice cold Sangria during the trip and the kids a lolly, they also slowed the boat down to show us fish, and threw in bread for them, we didn't expect this added extras during this half hour boat trip, the visit to this market is a must, Porto Mogan is beautiful.
