very good resort has high gay population at the yumbo center but mix of people drinks are a rip off tho

the amadores beach is beautifull and we were told it was made of crushed coral so the sand nery got hot.there are lovely restaurants and little shops on the beach one trip we did was a camel ride would recomend.overall a beautilfull place and will be coming back.

Having been to Gran Canaria before and stayed in Puerto Rico and spent quiet alot of euros on taxis to and from Amadores beach, we decided this time we would try and find somewhere nearer to Amadores. We spent most days on the beach, and didnt go in the pool at all. We ate at mostly at the Beach Bars the one we particularly liked was Bahlia (situated near steps).There is no nightlife for the party goers, but just a relaxed atmosphere and a fantastic view of the sea and sunset as you have your meal. The beach is particularly busy on Saturdays and Sundays when the locals come down. Sunbeds 3 euros, brollies 2.5euros. We did find that the cost of the meals seemed more expensive than previous years. Our evening meals cost between 45 - 55 euros.

Very small and quiet with only a dozen or so restaurants, bars and shops. Avopid thsi resort if you're after a lively resort with lots to do

The town is very busy on a night i didn't go down much only the odd night, mostly to the bar Tropiciana very lively.

Have been to this resort many times and love it still there is lots to do for families of all ages and something for everyone yes the people trying to get you into restaurants is a pain but everything else is worth the visit and we will defintely go back again.

Very Good resort with plenty to see and do. Good beech, and another great beach at Amadores is only 5 mins ( 4 euro ) away in a taxi.

Playd Del Ingles is the gay capital of europe, visit the Yumbo Centre for Drag shows, men only bars and sex clubs!

The resort was very good, at night time it was lively and bars were always mobbed. PR's did get very annoying as they pester you to go in to their bars.

Beach was lovely and clean.

We were half board so did not eat out all that often. Hard Rock Cafe near the Yumbo Centre was great, little bit pricey though.

a perfect holiday spot wheather you are two or ninty two,plenty to do and see.Drink is one fifty a bottle or pint in murphys bar a short distance from the green park,cheapest price we found

Puerto Rico itself is very pretty and i'm sure everyone else who has been there would agree. However, the thing that spoils your holiday is people outside the shops and markets trying to get you in to buy things. We got hassled every 5 mins to buy sunglasses on the street.. even though me and my wife were wearing some at the time...!?! The same is at night, it's quite dodgy and someone staying in the same hotel was nearly robbed but he faught them off. Keep your hands in your pockets and just dont make eye contact with people who might be to approach you... and if you pay a visit to the cash point... actually.. no don't! yobs hang out there...

I cant comment on eating out and nightlife as we didnt go out at night, we stayed at hotel. You can take the bus to serveral places if you didnt want to stay at Amardores.

puerto rico is suitable for couples, families and also party animals. the commercial centre has something for everyone. great resturants, plentifu bars and clubs. and lots of souveneir shops which are a bit overpriced. my two favourite resturants are san miguel in the commercial centre and a lovely chillout resturant called minanas which is about 50 ards from the cala d,or, the chef juan takes real pride in his food, i have never tasted anything like it. the atmosphere is so relaxed and peter makes you most welcome, a definate must!! puerto rico beach is quite nice but no visit to puerto rico woud be complete without a trip to amadores beach with its caribbean white sands and tourquoise waters, it is a fabulous walk along the cliffs from puerto rico harbour.

I am unbale to comment on the resort as we did not leave the hotel Orcidea apart from visiting the shops in the square oposite the hotel.

A nice friendly resort with good bus sevice to the bigger resorts. Ideal for families with young children who dont want to venture out too much.
