"Amadores"

Overall Sub Resort Rating:

This is a very recent resort purpose built. All the commercial facilities are around the beach. It has lots of restaurants and shops. There is a very good bus and taxi service, both not expensive. The resort is very clean and the gardens well kept. However there is no entertainment at night and you must go to other resorts such as Puerto Rico.

Overall Sub Resort Rating:

We didn't go for the resort but for the Hotel. However the resort is kept clean and tidy with a nice layout and facilities to attract a good cross-section of visitors.

"Puerto Rico -- going down hill fast"

Overall Sub Resort Rating:

Having visited this resort many times in the last 15 years it appears to be going down hill fast. Many empty shops and restaurants. 10 years ago queues were frequent at the popular eateries and the shops busy. Now both restaurant and shops seem to be struggling to survive

"nice resort"

excellent beaches wth very good toilet faclities all round. Booze getting more expensive every year so pleny complaints there. Loads of eating places some cheap and others cheerful. Boat trip to Mogan a must but watch out for the touts around P.Rica beach

As above - liked the resort and would stay here again. The resort is a lot better than Puerto Rico, as although a little comercialised it not on too much of a bad scale.

Excellent all round hotel, good location, good food, good staff... just good...!!! Short walk from the beach, short cab ride to the main town where you can pickup a bus to many enjoyable night spots

Really clean beach with large choice of resturants and facilities. You can hire sunbeds for 3 euros each and a parasol for 2.5 euros, Have plenty of 50 cent pieces to had as the toilets cost this.

Resort was brilliant. A horseshoe shaped bay which was edged with restaurants and little shops. Beach was crushed shells and a bit sore onthe feet until reaching the sea. There was some inflatables in the water at one side for the kids (payable) and the water was glorious although freezing. Very pretty.

A nice resort, would return but to a different hotel next time. The beach is man made, as many in this area are, but it seems to be fairly clear. watch out for the rocks though, you don't see them until you enter the water, and they can be dangerous underfoot.
This resort is centered aroubd the beach.
