Beautiful beach. Small and quiet resort. Not much night life so most suitable for families with small children.

"Expensive for the Quality you get"

BEACH - It looks fantastic but it is man-made. The sand is not real and with the broken shells it cuts your feet up. Beds & Parasols are expensive too.

RESTAURANTS - Lots of restaurants on the beach front but all serve the same food, Pizza's/Pasta's/Burgers/Chips etc etc. Drinks are also expensive, especially the Wine. Best food here is in Ciao Ciao's Italiana. You will find the best food in places where they don't stand outside and try to force the menu down your throat.

PUERTO RICO - Avoid this place at all costs if you can help it. Cheap tacky Bars/Resturants all the way and people hassling you to dine in their establishments. Also you get hassle from people trying to get you to vist this place called Anfi. However the good news is that this place has got a restaurant called "Oscars". It's near the harbour and here you can find Quality food & Wine.

MOGAN - DO VISIT HERE. This place looks more like Gran Canaria. Really great restaurants and proper little Canarian Houses with lovely flowers and small bridges. If we come back to this Island then we will def be staying in this resort. It's not spoilt and you won't find Pies & Chips here !!!

SUMMARY - The saving grace to our holiday was the glorious weather and the great sunsets. However it's very expensive for the Quality you get. If your after Quality Food & Wine then i'd seriously look elsewhere i.e, ITALY or PORTUGAL.

Restaraunts to vist as follow; Porto Fino Restarante , Ciao Ciao ( Amodores beach ) and Elvino's in Porto Rico shopping centre.

Amodores was very bland in it,s surroundings as it is entirely built into the surrounding rock faces, not much plantation etc so if you like nice scenery this is not the place for you.
